Light In Our Lives.

Thoroughly enjoyable, both poem and music. Yes I was toe tapping. Finding the light is everyone\'s end game. Some do and some never will. In nature, as brutal as it can be, somehow it seems to shine that light everywhere all the time.A very nice poem. - Phil A.

That light never dims. I half expected to see Orchi\'s footprints all over this page. Well done Andy.

Yes, there is always light for those who will see it, even in the darkest of times. A light which lifts our spirit.

Rare to see you producing rhyme like this. It\'s as if you were doodling whilst in a dream of your destiny.

You know what I\'m going to put here , even before...
Yep - thanks for the rhythm and rhyme.
And after reading I can have no doubt you will be whole on your star, never slowing, you both.

\'This too will pass,
Back into a new normality.\'
in today\'s \'all is doom n gloom\': as our go-to state
positivity\'s hat has become such a heavy burden to carry and display proudly,
thank you for all the heavy lifting Andy
yet another refreshingly uplifting read!

British Springtime.

so well articulated, but I don\'t know if that\'s just Spring, even our British Summer\'s get a little temperamental, especially when we walk down a busy high-street and find people drenched wet at one end and sweating buckets the other, lol
though personally I wouldn\'t have it any other way!
I found this a somewhat nostalgic read Andy (not quite sure why)

a great dedication Andy, with meaningful commentary on generationally inherited consequence of capitalism\'s rat-race mentality, where consumption of ease with speed, is prioritised above actual quality of \'what\' we consume and much more importantly: \'why\'?..
historically, society overtly worshiped art and creativity, now in this age where everything must be reduced to insignificance if it doesn\'t fit with that \'Netflix and chill\' mentality, we all have greater access to masterpieces and we simply ignore it, diminishing genius to one-eared craziness to fit a narrative of dismissal for legacy\'s we can\'t surpass..
even those few with enough culture and opportunity to appreciate, bring their baggage of stereotyped prejudice and choose to see \'what they\'ve been told\' rather than witnessing and appreciating the skill and beauty that\'s survived centuries, I mean devoid of context who can argue the breath-taking talent of Caravaggio\'s brilliance? such a waste

You know the piece I wrote, similar to 4\' 33\"? It\'s called \'24 hours\'. A silent piece, where I don\'t sing for a whole day! It\'s Number 1 in the charts!
They say \' Record that song every day, Orchi\' (to keep me quiet). lol.

Inspiration comes from a wide variety of sources. Just as we poets are inspired from so many different things. I would agree with you that looking at a painter\'s work would make me stop to ponder where his inspiration for the work came from and how he goes about transferring what\'s in his mind onto the canvas. Excellent write Andy.
