Waiting For What.
dusk arising said:

Haven\'t we all been there at one stage of our life. That repetative boring queue for a bus or waiting for a lift or even a well dressed bus-spotter!
I bet postmen/women can be accused of the same, even the same clothes.

I hope you are behaving yourself then! Could be a reward for doing some of the unpopular household tasks.
Really rewarding and reassuring.

Cooking Curse.
L. B. Mek said:

yup, as a fellow foody
and intuitive enthusiast, in the kitchen
I too suffer from the successes
and failures of my culinary adventures
to this date, once I managed to stop myself
from cooking chocolate and lemon curd Soufflés
day after belt-lengthening, day;
I have never: dared
to cook another one...
yeah, being lucky enough to enjoy your own cooking
is a curse, few
are willing to admit or confront! lol
(another fun write
thanks for sharing, dear poet)

I know where you are coming from. Back in the days of 2020 shielding I was getting free food boxes each week and found i was building up a supply of porridge oats. Once i became bored with porridge i sought other uses for them and found a recipe for oat biscuits made with golden syrup.... my oh my I couldn\'t stop making and devouring them over those shielding months until i realised I was over-indulging.
Now I have banned myself from creating these wonderful biscuits/cookies. Although recounting this tale is making me feel twitchy about it.
Beware Andy..... lest you become biscuit-bound.
