Ignorance Reigns.

such is life my friend, let us old souls at least take some comfort
in the mere fact, that like that humble-Great Socrates:
we accumulated enough knowledge - to realise, we know very little at all
a rare feat of humility, in today\'s egocentric society..
thanks for all the great music you choose to share with us Andy

\"Put another nickel in
In the nickelodeon
All I want is loving you
And music, music, music\"

Should be your theme song, Andy.
Since I joined MPS the range of music I\'ve been introduced to expands nearly every day.
And whose fault is that.....?

I\'d never think of you as ignorant. Rather i\'d say \"open minded to sounds as yet unencountered\" or \"one who finds pleasure in new places\".
There.... that\'ll make you smile.

Life Book.
L. B. Mek said:

life-affirmingly hopeful words of wisdom, yet again Andy..
just sad, that some of us are born into such diverse and difficult circumstances:
where our pages are drenched or churned into ash, before we get to realise what a book is in the first place,
or live a life where we only learn to read and write in our 30\'s, 40\'s or worse yet, have our lives end without ever learning
that h-o-p-e: spells opportunity, for that better we never learned to wish for..
sorry my friend I know I may be being needlessly dramatic, but I just thought best to remind those able to read these words
how lucky we are, to know: there\'s a better, for us to reach for

But you are not ignorant of that 4\' 33\" silent piece.
A composer said he would make a 40 years silent piece of me singing, so ya won\'t hear me!

Devoting a poem to rhyme
brings forth enchantments devine
though oft overlooked
and oft over-cooked
their inclusion is surely sublime.

Except to owe you a mere one dime
Is I feel, Andy something of a crime:
You are too good for that
When off your own bat
You provide music and occasional rhyme.

Now come on Andy - You are wasting time here when you could be finding another rhyme….. or more music.

Thanks.

Truthful Lives.
L. B. Mek said:

such a thought provoking and engaging write Andy, a great stimulus topic for open dialogue!
being true to ourselves and the telling of lies, have differing connotations and impacts..
I feel lying is inevitable to some degree,
some completely delude themselves and proudly boast they never do, while rest of us fidget and mention words like \'white\' and \'bending\' to drape our discomfort with admitting to telling a few lies, now and then..
personally, I think the most important thing is that we don\'t lie to ourselves, its impossible to anticipate all the madness waiting for us in the world, so we\'ve all learnt from childhood to word our \'truths\' in a certain way or for some, just got good at telling lies - outright,
but if we can limit and control the lies we tell ourselves, then we can face our own truth\'s and insure we \'police\' ourselves, then it matters less how everyone else judges our words, because we know we\'re doing the best we can and nothing more can be asked of us..
(but what do I know? I may be deluding myself with these very words I type, lol)

Good write Gold.
Would we have courage to always be truthful? Would everyone accept what we say, if we were always truthful? Would WE always accept what others say to us?
There is sneakiness, \'white lies\', etc where we \'get through life\' at times, I suppose. Then we may have to maintain the lie, if we start one.

Thoroughly enjoyable, both poem and music. Yes I was toe tapping. Finding the light is everyone\'s end game. Some do and some never will. In nature, as brutal as it can be, somehow it seems to shine that light everywhere all the time.A very nice poem. - Phil A.
