Only The Lonely.
Accidental Poet said:
I too know your loneliness, but what keeps me positive is feeling how lucky I was to have had her in my life to begin with. Smile, and she smiles with you. Great emotional write Andy.

Have to agree with Teddy, we all have those guilty pleasures. But as long as it harms no one, why the guilty conscience? Enjoy your music Andy. Great write. ; )

Your shortie (my own technical terminology - of which I have a whole repertoire) just about says it all in the simplest possible way - I could get to quite like that applied to a vast array of human activity.
And thanks for the Flying Pickets - bought back some old memories, plus they were good.

World leaders, I\'m reminded of many years ago how young boys would build a fort and all be part of a club. Only today\'s club have no clue of the real issues that our world faces. Great write and song video Andy.

I like the play on words Andy,
although your words cut a little too close to the bone, for me to nod and smile along
\'see, this cesspool virtual reality: we title society
politicises every aspect of existence
to the extent, we\'re taking nature walks
with VR goggles plastered to our eyes
while exclaiming wonder
at this pixelated fields of polarising lies
we seldom realise
is poisoning: our very understanding of freedom...\'

When did a meeting of many \'leaders\' ever amount to a true meeting of minds anyway. For each has their agenda. They will not be confronted with anything they do not already know. Their well rehearsed rhetoric will be aired and little change will take place.
Once again it is a political move so that one man can appear to have tried to be a messiah, the saviour of our world talking over the heads of those who do not have the longevity of their peoples interest at heart.
A very thought provoking piece today Andy and of such great importance to all life on our home... this planet Earth.
There now exists a time when being right or righteous is far from any use and appears to fail the future of everything.

you have such a wonderful ear for the music of poetry, so many times I choose to listen to the music you accompany to your write\'s, before I read the words
and often I find there\'s a symbiotic chemistry between your poetic lines and the melody you expertly choose
truly, a wonderful gift/ear you have Andy,
\'God\'s country\' is simply stunning: Fountains Abbey, Ribblehead and those Washborn reservoir\'s in all their scenic glory, surreal in that atmospheric night..
personally, I\'m drawn to shorelines more than mainland - I am just sucker for that coastal hum of waves breathing to n from, in-sync with my pulses beat..
\'Last of the Summer Wine\', for me
\'is the sound of my father laughing - knowingly
while I watched - him, thoughtfully
a treasured memory!\'
