Oh this chimes too much with my cluttered life.
I am going to ebay my junk. And i have just discovered that facebook has selling groups throughout our county. De-cluttering will be my 2019 goal.

Though i fear that Poetic Dan has hit the reality and i will only end up re-cluttering.

We are all hoarders of all that STUFF,
my first scribble, my first grade,
my first ribbon from the parade
God know I can\'t take it with me
Nor convince a member of family
There is no intrinsic value, chump
One day they\'ll all be in a dump

WHAT, hoarded over years, my STUFF!!!!!!

Your intro really touched me Andy - we do have a great bunch on here but why so few of us? As for the poem it\'s not a bad bit of stuff - keep penning.

I\'m going to say something that going to come across as callous, but maybe, just maybe it will give you a different perspective

Rebirths - tells us that the soul/person will be born again

Destiny - our present existence is the effect of our previous actions, as our reactions today are the cause of our future

Heaven or Hell - there is no celestial heaven, or a fiery pit of hell, it is the life we are living, and the longevity is the sentence

If we accept these definitions, it will give us the courage to face our present.

BUT THESE DO NOTHING TO REMOVE OUR CURRENT PAIN, WHICH MAKES US QUESTION EVERYTHING.

If my wishes could comfort or cure, you have them in abundance

Wow this was powerful stuff your words have been heard by many gods, as in my view that\'s what we are.
With that in mind as a tear runs down my face, I hope her mind finds some comfort in your inspirational bravery.

Thank you for sharing

This God hasn\'t spoken to anyone i know Goldfinch.
It is a myth created by mankind and surrounded by pathetic excuses when we ask \'why\' about some terrible disaster in our lifes.
Cleverly the \'fear of god\' is instilled in us as children so that the various \'churches\' have a power over us.
Anyway, if i am totally wrong then ask yourself this. Is an omnipotent god capable of doing everything but doesn\'t EVER come up with the goods really worth worshiping?

Ohhhhhh UNCLE ANDY : Your post this morning made me cry for You & Joyce. Im posting on GOOD FRIDAY becaus BRIAN is on his way to be with me for a fortnight. MY FAITH is very very strong : as is BRIANS : and it has sustained us during our separation for eight MONTHS. We pray for you and JOYCE 24/7 ! You haven\'t lost your FAITH ANDY : Its just on HOLD because of the sad situation you face day-by-day ! Your beloved JOYCE with you in BODY but not in MIND : aweful. Your stoicism through it all ANDY : has been an inspiration to both BRIAN & I should either of us lose our mental faculties. I support HEADWAY and I know that BRIANcould have an accident on his Bicycle and lose his mind and nothing I could do could restore it : it frightens me !
Blessings & Love to YOU & JOYCE : AMEN
Love in the SPIRIT : Angela & Brian 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

Andy,

I’ve been reading your daily postings. I can almost feel the pain you feel! It is during those painful times that the faithful question their God! They feel forsaken by Him! I know your belief is strong and irrefutable! As my dad would say, “Now is the time to be the strongest you have ever been!” I never questioned his belief in his God because it comforted him and kept him strong till the end! Early one morning we found his lifeless body in his favorite chair...with a smile on his face! That is what I remember the most about his death...his smile! Whenever I think of him (every single day), I see his smile...and that makes me happy! I no longer think of his suffering! He endured it and never questioned it because of his faith!

Stay strong!

My love to Joyce and to you!

~Laura~

I can understand this gold. I fuss about \'outward\' things. Sometimes I decide on that, to go to church or not - too cold; too rainy; etc.
But it\'s more than that really. Then there\'s me about to write a poem on oils, healing, etc.
In one of the darkest Psalms (88) the Psalmist cries out to God. Hardly a glimmer of praise in it. It seems he is about to die too. Yet I read in a commentary that he still holds on to God.....somehow.

Foolish Things remind Me of BRIAN every day and he concurs : that Foolish Things remind Him of ME : Its called EMPATHETIC LOVE ! Im starting to cry now because BRIAN seems so so CLOSE and still so so FAR AWAY. Next time I do a WORK SWAP it will be with Addenbrooks Cambridge : just 50 miles away : so Brian can come every weekend !
Blessings & Love to you BOTH !

Play to-day, we each need

Cheated a little, but still fun.
I play such games in my head many many times.

There is a sentence in Hindi, to show the importance of punctuation, but it doesn\'t translate to English very well:

Crude attempt:
An enemy spy is trying to gain entrance to a fort to blow up the armory and presents a hand written note to the sentry, which says:

STOP DON\'T LET GO

He was allowed in because the sentry read it as,

STOP DON\'T, LET GO

Where as it was meant to read

STOP, DON\'T LET GO

you can guess the outcome.

I thought you all may like this levity as well

You lucky people.
Desifinado is a piece i learned long ago and remains a fav. I had only ever heard the studio version of the 45 record (B side jazz theme from Dr Kildare I also learned) until today. Stan was epitome of west coast cool sax and here on your vid to my ears he is over-playing barely retaining \'cool\'. It does however show his virtuosity.
