The Magic of Mozart.

Incredible music, incredible poem! It is amazing what music can do to us, or maybe better for us.
As a side note, even though my mother tongue is German, without the subtitles I wouldn\'t have understood a word!

A beautiful metaphor on your life\'s journey, Goldie, in which you are blessed to have shared with your mate. Not quite the path that I have traveled, but one to be admired, for sure. Well written!

A whole life in a poem, Goldfinch. You did a tremendous job here and I commend you. Love the whole poem, so poetic, but especially the last six lines. I guess because that is where I am at this time in my life.

A fine write Gold. Sounds like \'Pilgrim\'s Progress\' by John Bunyan.
Meanwhile - my hill suddenly got much steeper. The wedding, you know!
And - you packed your bags for Hastings? Were there hills there?!

What an aura we create through self knowledge...... but people need to be perceptive to perceive dont they. And they do say that first impressions last ...which is sometimes true. Sight being the dominant sense makes a nonsense of the whole issue....

This is great writing Goldie. It made me think even more about that question. Am I being myself? The beginning is to find our true self, what is not easy either.

Goldfinch, you may have been inspired by Mugsdaddy, but you wrote something all your own. Something beautiful and true, your own self. Sometimes we worry too much about how other people see us and end up slipping into a role, playing the person we think they want to see. And that person may not be us.

Yep, his sense of humour is wicked! Once you learn to accept what he/she/it is showing you. Wish i\'d seen it a long time ago. I hope your piece encourages some to think about it and hopefully see.
