Solution or Truth.

I concur fully with the wisdom of this fine poem, Goldfinch. Why else are we here, but to experience and learn from the lessons we have chosen?

Those truths are just there, they need not be obstructions but just be accepted and then we can move on.

A fine write G. Though I\'ve a headache now, \"thinking\" this time of the morning! (the clock on here shows U.S.A. time I think).

Dementia is a horrid thief that unfortunately you know we\'ll enough to capture. I\'ve watched him steal from my own. Blessings to you.

My last wife and I cared for her grandfather the last two years of his life . He had Alzhiemers disease . My wife was a nurse so she quit her job to take care of him 24/7 . Even then we had to hire outside help . We had children also so the strain on everyone was telling . It\'s so sad to see someone simply fade away .

Such a sad read - when dementia hits family is the only time we can really understand its hold. My heart goes out to you G and to your family.

Thoughts with you and your wife GF. An awful thing to go through for both of you, each differently.

A fine, and sadly a true write too. Not that I\'ve had personal contact with it.
I know we say in humour about \'madness\' or \'nuttiness\', such as 1066, but of course we don\'t mean it in the sane way, as a medical condition.
It\'s painful emotionally for you and your family. Love wins through somehow. Prayers and medications too, possibly, to bring healing, or at least stabilise things?

A fine write G. I thought I was indispensable in 1066. Well, I gave Harold what I thought was excellent advice. I only told him to look up! heehee.

I Like this poem, it speaks to me. As a matter of fact, I did write a book somewhat based upon my life experiences. Alas, not a best seller.
