Same here in the USA. Our last administration spent a trillion dollars on infrastructure except the majority of that money just vanished. I remember when I was younger the mayor of the city was a voluntary position without salary simply covering expenses. Today salaries are 300,000 plus. Nice rant.

All I can see is Trump and May walking hand in hand this last winter . Too bad we can\'t have another election here in the US for more than three years .

👏👏👏👏👏 I think this is a true reflection of what went on. As a Scottish lass I remember what a tories government did for us in the 80\'s and would do anything to get them out (just my personal opinion)

A fine write G/F. Maybe it\'s symbolic that it\'s a hung Parliament - divided,. Though some want them hung in the other senses!
Meanwhile, on me sherry - only one thing for it: bring back The Monster Raving Loony Party. Shall we both stand as candidates?! heehee.

Well said. It\'s interesting that the younger ones tended towards Labour and it is reasonable to assume that they will carry their ideals with them; in other words Labour is most likely to be the party of the future. The Torys thought they would gain the UKIP votes = they still don\'t understand that Leave was not a party related issue - many Labour supporters felt the same way and UKIP was merely a temporary means to an end. Sorry - shouldn\'t use MPS as a political platform but then I\'m not expressing a party political viewpoint - or am I?

I was captivated in the video by how unique was the one little boy who reacted so differently to what they all heard, and how he was embraced for it. Beautiful piece, Goldfinch! Here\'s to the different ones among us!
