Sometimes a 4 verse (maximum) hymn-poem of 4 lines each can help to concentrate thoughts. Though sometimes it may be less or more verses, or 6 line or 8 line verses.
Not forgetting the metres - or in my poems, more accurately, formats. Strictly speaking, metres put accents on certain syllables.
