Oh yes. I like that too. Why is it that when we write we don\'t get a grip of things. This is why the comments enriches our writes. Makes us see better. Thank you.

Malu, this is the most poetic, most eloquent, most beautiful, and most truthful description of what makes a writer I ever read. Great!

Poetry is my confession, my revelation, my despair - my tears and laughter, my release, my repair - my joy and my sorrow, my trouble and strife - it pours from my fingers its the ink of my life.

Poem for women
malubotelho said:

Thanks Jane. I\'m a femenine girl. I was born the last child of a family of five girls. Plus my mother. I was dressed like a doll and had the love and care of all those women. I\'m a soft person. Life was not easy when I left my family but did not harden me too much. Gave experience.

Now that you point to it I had to read my poem again to refresh my memories. It means that to create one need to begin with something at some point. I begin pulling a string from a dead point. It is almost pulling something from a gap, or an invisible hole. Because I work making clothes I have to draw patterns and always begin with a point. In the beginning is a dead point, till I pull a line from that point and it is the process of creation of a piece. An apparel.

The magic of poetry
onepauly said:

yes poetry is a wonderful magic. I remember when I was starting to write poetry. I would not read others
poems. I think you know why. but there was one time I walked to the library. and standing in the isle I read almost a whole book of poems. it was very delightful. I wrote a poem about that library visit. i\'ll post it in time. now I want to write about the gentle winds flowing through the trees in the summertime. they whisper magic. and when I pass from this world. I would like to have my ashes spilled in a forest of trees. so I can be part of it.
and death shall have no dominion
