Such an outstanding appeal in this verse Malu - the title itself is a gentle reminder of where peace can be found. A lovely read.

There is place of quiet rest
Near the Heart of Creator God
A place where sin can ne\'er molest
Near to the Heart of God

Love the visual ~ Reflections !

MALU ~ you have shared a beautiful Poem ~ which is also beautiful Prayer. We all long for a quiet place away from the cares of the World ~ were we can commune alone with God

Thanks for sharing ~ Love You for being You ~ BRIAN

Thanks Santita. It is quite scary to write dark murderous things but I wanted to try. My Stephen King side.

WOW MALU ~ This is some POEM ! We can\'t blame all our actions on EDDY. Your very sensuous Poem / Photo combo (you can\'t have one without the other !) starts gently enough \"He laid her down ................ \" but it ends in HORROR (thanks for scaring !). Dissection & dismembering of a Lady is \"ultimate sex\" but it happens. Thanks for having the guts to share ~ it will give me nightmares ~ but I felt (having read & reread it) that i was brave enough to comment. There is more than a hint of NECROPHILIA ! Thanks for sharing ~ I still Love You ~ BRIAN XOX

Malu, there are times when any and all of us would like to let go, petal by petal (beautifully said), I think.

In a playful mood my mind invites me to reflect upon what has led to this pregnancy..... oooh. Seriously tho, lately my life has been in knots and i have had scant desire to write, yesterday and day before i didn\'t need to compose i looked at the mps homepage, glanced out of the window and before i knew it i had published my thoughts of that moment. My writers block comes when i can\'t polish something. i\'ll put it away and leave it to nag me on my desktop. Today i have so many mixed feelings about several subjects that i may miss the deadline. I\'ve got a serious dose of the blues and feel like breaking my diet and stuffing myself with cake etc, not writing at all.

Thanks B/A. I have some beauties on my garden and this one came to me as I was admiring one of them. Short life span. I can never have all of them beautiful and blooming together but I always have some new ones coming.

So beautiful and moving. Living a life not as was meant to be but life and desires, and love of the worlds beauty around us, continue within the restraints. And life ends as we all will once again become stardust. Very moving for me today.

But those that go \"full term\" I share and thanks for all your loving comments it make the pain of Poetic Pregnancy & Poetic Birth worthwhile. Thinking of you ~ Hugs in the Spirit ~ BRIAN

Great metaphor here, Malu. Even though we guys obviously do not have the real experience of birthing, we do go through these motions as well when writing. I really like this poem.
