So sad and yet so true to life. He left her no room to grow. An unblossomed flower while still beautiful can never be fully appreciated because true beauty is never revealed. Very beautiful very deep very sad. Amazing and tragic. This is a masterpiece.

A torturous condition that you\'ve penned so well! I actually practice a grounding exercise to stop the racing thoughts. It isn\'t magic, but it helps. Love how you used long fingers scratching the mind.

Sometimes it\'s so hard to clear the mind of sleep robbing thoughts. And then next thing you know you\'re waking up hours later wondering how you did finally fall asleep. Great poem malu. ; )

It is such a torment. \"Insomnia\" is such a dreadful word to hear, and horrible experience to bear. I wish I have the magic wand to put you into sleep.

A scary place to be is sleepless when \"drenched in inquisition\" and your words describe the position so well dear Malu that I felt I was knocking on those same walls. A compelling read.

Malu, I feel for you. Not being able to fall asleep must be terrible.
Fortunately I am one these people who only have to lay down and it sleeps! Maybe there is a little switch in my head somewhere that turns sleep on as soon as I am horizontal! :-)

Mental turmoil preventing sleep is something i have discovered over the last few years. It affects your everyday life, i now prefer to fall asleep in my chair rather than goto bed and just lay there unable to sleep. Your expression of anguish in your writing feels real and makes uncomfortable reading. Really good writing from you again my friend.

Thanks MALU for enlarging our concept of the extent and the extinction of LOVE. Often our Ladies accuse us of doing TOO LITTLE but your excellent ode informs us we can also do TOO MUCH and the result (rejection) is the same ! ME ? I like to get the balance just right ! Brotherly Hugs ~ from Brother BRIAN Love the PICTURE we can all relate to that ~ \"Alone again naturally !\"

Sometimes love can be suffocating. Too much good is bad. We all need our personal space, no matter how much we love the other person.
Malu, you captured all this and more in your beautiful poem. I like how it starts and ends the same, as if the time in-between is only an interlude.

I have never visited the USA and only met US citizens online. All such different, nicer folk, than TV progs would lead us to believe here in UK. What i see in Texas is the human spirit of helping your neighbor no matter who they be. One hopes such disasters also have a positive lasting effect upon society bringing it closer to one single humanity. Worthy thought provoking writing Malu.

We should also pray for the people (before prisoners they are people) stuck in the Houston Jail that was decided to not be evacuated despite it being mandatory on the area. We need to do more than pray, climate change enhances these storms. As I have grown, I begin to disagree with the \"just be a good person\" rhetoric. Great thought for the poem though.
