A delightful write. I suppose it\'s about the poet\'s temperament, our triumphs and travails. But please try to shoo us away from our madness and see what gives!

Oxymoronic ending - something that sounds so bad can be written in a way that forces a wide smile and a guilty laughter.
Thanks for sharing

Lips that look like inflated sausages I do know but i\'ve yet to see eyebrows fashioned in the Epping Forest cut. Great finish to this - gave me an inflated grin..

ANGELA HERE - Thanks DA for sharing the negative side of VALENTINES DAY which some endure Year after Year. SAXON CROW & I have been accentuating the POSITIVE TODAY because thats how it is for us - OK. Janis Joplins 17 year old lament is straight from the Heart ! I know Girls (and some are in our Yourh Club !) who will get NO CARD TODAY and will have NO ONE to send a CARD TO ! Brian & I have had our HEARTACHES in the past but the last three Years have been perfect (apart for a separation of 15 months while I was in NZ on Work Exchange) but the ABSENCE really did make our Hearts grow Fonder ! BRIAN & I will be at the Catholic Dinner Dance to night ! Although we will dance TOGETHER we will also take time to Dance with the lonely Singles. Thats what Shared True Love is all about - AMEN. For many life is not *Coming up Roses* Thanks for the reminder !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
Love Angela & Brian πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›

Loved the seasonal comparisons and the descriptive phrases to describe each. \"damp breeze which shuddered across her bones,\" and \"wrap up warm.\" Let\'s not forget the enchanting title phrase as well, \"the only love she held onto\"\". Just great stuff. Brilliant! - Phil A.
