Thank you for your comment. Still, I think there is great power in positive thinking. Even if the masters of war would not be interested, there are probably many of us who would be. Many of us who just want to live good lives and enjoy them without being constant witnesses to a horror movie, many of us who don\'t want to see other people suffer not just out of human sympathy but because it is so harmful to the human psychology even (I think) to see human misery. It degrades us too, those who are not directly suffering from these traumatic experiences but who suffer by implication. We always do. Anyway, thank you so much for responding.

Lost Dreams
MendedFences27 said:

Parting with a love can be a trying and
mournful experience. It tears a heart to pieces, without knowing if it will ever recover. It is difficult to say everything one feels in a few lines. you have given your innermost feelings a full venting here. Whatever is causing your pain I hope you find your way home.
A vivid expression of the pain of parting. I felt it too. - Phil A.

Poem about the Moon
ANGELA & BRIAN said:

HI JO ~ Thanks for focussing on SISTER MOON ! For US the MOON is always an inspiration Scientifically and in Fantasy ! We all fantacise that it is the abode of a LUNAR QUEEN ~ Who controls the TIDES and our EMOTIONS ! We all dream of visiting the MOON and seeing her close up & personal ! BUZZ ALDRIN (1969) called it ~ compared with the vibrant Planet Earth ~ the MAGNIFICENT DESOLATION ! Perhaps he landed in the WRONG PLACE ? What we must all appreciate is the UNIQUENESS (in the SOLAR SYSTEM) of our amazing Natural Sattelite ! NO other PLANET has a MOON ~ so BIG ~ so CLOSE & so BEAUTIFUL ~ Thanks for caring & sharing !

Blessings & Peace & Joy

Adonais
Jo March said:

Thank you so much for responding to my poem. Yes, Keats lived a very short life. What is interesting is that no matter how many times I reread some of his poems such as \"Ode to a Nightingale\" and \"Ode to Psyche\", I always discover something new to marvel at, to explore further. \"La Belle Dame sans Merci\" is also one of my favorites as well as, of course, his famous odes, especially \"Ode to a Nightingale\" and \"Ode to Psyche\". Another wonderful poem I discovered recently is his \"To George Felton Mathew\" (his own tribute to a fellow poet).

An excellent tribute poem. From what I know of his life and works it seems to capture both. A short life for such a great poet. And now, hundreds of years later, his work remains, or as you have said he is \"among us sitting at our tables,\" and \"walking in our forests.\" Of his work, the ballad, \"La Belle Dame sans Merci\" is my most remembered. Thanks for posting, it refreshed my appreciation of Keats. - Phil A.

Poem about the Sun
BRIAN & ANGELA said:

HI JO ~ You did it again ~ A great Cantos to BROTHER SUN ~ AMEN Verses 1 - 3 Praise to the SUN ~ Mother Natures Greatest gift to Planet Earth ~ Sustainer and Propogater of all Life on Earth !
V 4. I\'ve been caving and it\'s unbearable without LIGHT & HEAT !
Verses 5 6 7 For the past 35 years of my life the SUN has risen each MORNING & set each NIGHT and I know it will tomorrow !
Verses 8 to 14 ~ Every Day all the Blessings of the SUN are YOURS & MINE and 7.5 billion others and all the Flora & Fauna ~ AMEN
Verses 15 to 17 ~ We don\'t really deserve the SUN ~ BUT ~ We have it (for the foreseeable future !) but we should never take it for granted ! For thousands of years the CO2 in the atmosphere (250 ppm) maintained the EARTH @ 15 C ! Due to MAN the CO2 is now 400+ ppm and the average temperature is now 16C (don\'t blame the SUN !) and the ICE CAPS are melting and the sea level is rising etc ! By continuing to let the CO2 levels rise we are insulting the SUN ~ destroying Global Climatic Equilibrium and ultimately making the Earth UNINHABITABLE ! Love your Poem ~ Love the SUN ~ but we need a word of warning that unchecked Global Warming etc makes the SUN our ENEMY instead of our FRIEND ~ Thanks for sharing ~ Yours BRIAN Please check my Poem ~ a tribute to WALES ! Also please add a fishy verse to my FUSION on FISH ~ Thanks B !

White Door
BRIAN & ANGELA said:

THANKS FOR SHARING JO ! I could just write GREAT POEM ! BUT ~ Because I too am a Poet ~ that would not do justice to \"White Door\" ! V 1. Introduces the DOOR ~ in reality and in dreams ~ Then in Vs 2-3-4 there is a misunderstanding ! Are we all CLOWNS (a great poetic theme) trying to fathom ~ is it a \"door of opportunity\" or of \"exclusion\" ? V 5. You really want to know \"what\'s behind the White Door ?\" V 6. No more nightmares ~ Dreams about the Door are always an enigma ~ outside exclusion ~ inside inclusion ! When I dream about DOORS I often wake up before they open ! My dreams never start where they left off ~ another night ~ another door !
V 7. You want the dream to end V 8. Just open up for one day V 9. We can do it V 10. YES we can ! V 11. Faces betray our feelings ~ OK I\'ll wear a MASK (another dream symbol) just like Mardi Gras ! V 12. FAITH ? \"I know the White Door will open !\" BUT (V 13.)I\'m still a CLOWN ! V 14. Hallelujah ~ the White Door OPENS ! V 15. DENOUEMENT ~ MY ANGEL WHITE DOOR HAS OPENED ~ DO YOU MIND ? NON ~ C\'EST LA VIE ! love the Poem ~ More Please ~ Yours BRIAN
