How on Earth Did She do That

Quite a read that was and reading it all created a salt and pepper reaction in the mind. Drew a visual image gradually.

No more respectful approach to end an acid affair than contained in these lines of gentle reminders that love means loyalty. Quite moving these fondest regards and Nev.
I hope they arrived via your poetic need for expression and not from experience my luverly friend..........x

Not limited to ex-lovers, this could easily be sent to many so called friends or even relatives that choose to fall out of relationships. Nicely done.

When Wild Honey is Not Always the Sweetest
Rocky Lagou said:

This is so lovely dear poet! I mean jeez I felt this experience as it was happening, and your godsent rhetoric and style just ties it all together. \"I shall focus entirely on / love songs, / our survival and poetry ..\" is actually such a beautiful line. Whilst your lover (I\'m assuming) is getting ready for what seems like a good time, you\'re already looking further to the \"survival\" of the relationship. This is wonderful!

Not (I dare to contradict) a love poem to be found here, and not sad in that context - refreshing. But tragically a message I wish I\'d sent to at least one of the friends/lovers who touched my life....but has....

Much appreciated, Neville.

KP will have to go. She is costing me too much! But I won\'t see her any less. I don\'t see her 99% in person anyway - only on TV, in papers, or doing \'porridge\'\'?
She gets away with things, with botox making her look like an old trout age 99, so they let her off (No offence to oldies).

Wow N, power title to start off with! As a child my older cousins and uncles took me wild honey ‘hunting.’ And yes, without the aid of bleached processed sugar it can have its specific type of sweetness that isn’t the sweetest type around. So glad to be experiencing this poem!

The Science of Passing the Buck
MendedFences27 said:

All it takes is one citizen to pass the buck to another, and then, because there is more than one citizen involved it ends up in the hands of some organization, who then passes it from the local to the regional to the national. They of course, pass it to the government starting with the local, who then pass it to the county, and they pass it to the state which, in turn, forward it to the federal. It then gets moved to the Congress which pass that buck to the president, where Harry Truman said, \"The buck stops here,\" as a measure of taking responsibility.
Your poem highlights this inane shirking and the preposterous excuses used to achieve it. Where does it all end? Only the originator of the pass has that answer, but he\'ll probably pass it on, to avoid a lawsuit. - Phil A.
