Hot, sensual, evocative, whew! I especially love the witty, double entendre at the end, so I think I know where you\'re coming from. Don\'t forget to tell Bob hi from me.

You are literally one of my favorite poets in the universe! Neville your undeniable aptitude to gracefully craft words into pure works of artistry is captivating. Just with the first line you already had me breathless, \"Few men know pain like a poet knows pain.\" Preach and amen!

I have to confess, my friend........... I\'m sure of nothing here.... my pain threshold is all over the place.... I\'m unsure if your kite is a dicky bird or a contraption made of paper or other light material held together with a frame of likewise light material on the end of a long strong and light tether...... Finally (more or less) I was instructed by Mother to always soak/wash bloody clothing in cold water before said blood dried.. Perhaps the unidentified \'she\' in your piece needed a little more domestication and a little less discretion.

In Summary, I am forced to the conclusion that this was a very intriguing write - thank you...... 🙂

simply Brilliant! oh Poet Supreme
and thank you for inspiring me to scribble a few lines in response
(you know it\'s true love
when they hide our shortcomings
and find a way to forget our indiscretions
then still find the strength to do our washing
while smiling at us
like we\'re shower clean, even beneath our skin...)

Thanking you truly mon ami for this gusty warning to whosoever when old clobber disposing and I sorely relate to resultant complains - - males who have preference for storing just-in-case- clothing create trouble in camp if just one is found missing - - hhhmm - methinks this maybe penned from the same bitter experience ? ..............x

There are those people we encounter who, as Nat King Cole sang, are \"Unforgettable\". Lucky us, for wonderful relationships that may be brief, but are forever etched upon our memory. Such a truly heart-felt poem dear friend.

There are those regrets that now and again rear their ugly heads and give pause for thought. Conflicted with past and present, it is a difficulty that often evades resolution. Powerfully worded my friend!

Ah but you’re a smooth one Neville. Not being a sophisticate and no linguist either, I woz forced to seek the advice of Prof G.
Now not only did that sage identify your header as the identity of a race horse and a song by a name unfamiliar to me, but that you’ve been unfaithful. Ah désillusion........

OK, I googled \"There will always be Music on Clinton St.\" and came up with those lyrics
in the Leonard Cohen song \"Famous Blue Raincoat\". I found A Gospel group called Spencer Bridge Hall, and a bridge over the Yarra River/Melbourne called Spencer Bridge St. Judging from the song, it sounds possibly, like love, betrayal, forgiveness, acceptance. I may have it all wrong, but a very intriguing write, and the cryptic nature is just too good. Loved it!

my foggy mind can\'t place any context to your words, Hyung
but I can easily connect to your theme
of musically influenced states of mind
where post codes denote, more
than merely, a Time and a Place
where melodies intwine memory
within reality and in each blink
we cross decades
as we once again, relive and swim
in our much craved, ideal...
(Wonderfully tight lines Hyung
btw how\'s that sixth addition coming along)
