erm, so Hyung
sometimes I just read your title and then
lose control of my fingers for a bit
inspired
to try and scribble a little poetic reply
since I so relate with your words
thank you!
(replete, with our youthful zeal
lust inspiring us to love without handbrakes
we were young
all we chased was a place
for us to embrace
and cuddle, all night
since, climbing out
of the toilet window to evade capture
got old, after one rainy weekend
so now
we trace Time, in a finger caress
with that ease of mind
yeah, it\'s a lot of money
when between us, we can barely
pay the rent
let alone the bills, but
the memories we made, in that
very first place, we both
got to call our own, even for just
a while, lasted us a lifetime
dear, first love..
and yes i still remember it all
like it was yesterday
wine n dining you on tuna sandwiches
and cheap strawberry wine
making your lips, taste
a little more sweet, with every sip
I remember it all
no regrets
just mementos I cherish, with pride
knowing how lucky I was
that it was you I got to share
those moments with)

Requiem For a Lost Cause

I think this is a desire to focus on the important things in life, closeness and \"time together.\"
It sounds by the title it is something not to be granted. Outside influence to force a separation? I enjoyed the ease of language in this poem. It sounded as though it was being softly spoken, almost mournfully. As always, a most enjoyable treat. - Phil A.

You pull at the heart strings with this beautiful poem dear Nev. The simple pleasutes of coats touching but never close enough, the taste of a crisp red apple made even sweeter when shared, and the park bench where two can sit as one and just enjoy one anothers company. The longing for just one more encounter makes this so priceless my friend. I love it!,

Brings to mind the red coats and the blue (?) the history of it is getting vaguer as the days go by. The \'very last autumn\' sounds a bit ominous.

Brilliant!
from title to pinprick last dots
this was profoundly sobering
contemplation needed, as preparation
for those inevitable tear stains, in life
(I read and learn)
thank you! Hyung

funny, every other word I read

demons and life\'s devilish temptations
I thought western secular society assassinated all deity\'s
how convenient, we choose to keep

as prophetic as it is steeped
in mythological fantasy;
we be contrary creatures, that duality
necessity
of self betraying contradiction

sticky sweet..
explains why hollywod\'s
no1 profession, is a nose surgeon
we all need a release
some are powdery white and sweet
others... destroy!
an anthill\'s life, indeed
(a deeper read warranted of this
subtle gem
my very wise friend, loved this
such acute imagery
executed so subtly)

Hyung,
I bow to your empathetic endurance
I can barely handle my own sht
let alone walk through life, wading
through other people\'s, mire...
(escapism as our artform of ignorance
we assume, all is fair
in our neurotic crutches of life
even when those crutches are formed
of the goodwill ashes
of those who invested in us, or
the innocent collateral damage
of the
thoughtless choice we make in life..)

Is worshipping the cell phone the latest cult.? Will they all walk into the sea at the same time?
There is a growing feeling that we are raising a generation that will be incapable of human interaction. They will walk around with their phones doing whatever it tells them to do. Scary!! - Phil A.

Back seat\'s the best spot for back seat driving. But otherwise destroying all that makes us look foolish is top order. The new and latest is for many but that could be seen as a badge of surface dwelling and a lack of much depth.

A very clever image created by you in this poem, happy ants dancing in sugar, setting up the final rhetorical question. But let\'s not encourage the ants. - Phil A,

Well I just ain’t sure whether this is a tale or true reportage, and yeh I know a gentleman never tells. Thus I’m left to make my own mind up about that….
Either way, irony is something I’m well into, so thanks for a bit of dark entertainment, Neville.

Would it be trit to say \"short and sweet\"? It may be, but the image of two ants dancing in a sugar pot is the sweetest I can imagine. I\'d love it to be a waltz, but with all that suger it\'s probably a jitterbug. Now I\'m smiling in the sweetest way, thank you.
