So true but it is also bring out the good in many people. Being retired I have had many notes through the door, ;phone calls and emails from friends and acquaintances asking if I need any help at all. I don\'t as all is well but it shows the goodness of people in these strange times.

He he he SNAP! I wrote on the same theme today...please have a look at my \'global warning\' today.

Do we deserve such a beautiful planet? Our home?

Well i don\'t believe god is the \'Mr Nice Guy and our saviour\' bit at all..... ask anyone who prayed and then was confronted with disaster and deaths.

What is a poet?
ANGELA & BRIAN said:

BRIAN HERE - Good evening *PB* thanks for an intersting Poem which asks a QUESTION *What is a Poet ?* Provided they can speak in their Mother tongue the whole Human Race (over 7 billion) is potentially a Poet. The definition of a Modern Poem is any words in any order ! Although I would prefer the definition *A poem is words with REASON and arranged in a pattern of either Rhythm or Rhyme*. Early Poems in the oral tradition (before most poeple could write or read) were composed so people could remember them and recite & repeat them ! Hence the need for Rhyme & Rhythm and classic Poetic Forms such a Sonnets & Pantoums (repetition) & Hymns etc. It is the form & function of the Poem that makes it memorable !

Yes, it\'s difficult to say what is the profound relationship between stars and humans, but I\'m sure they do see us (without eyes) and feel us (without fingers) and hear us (without ears). Smell us, maybe not.

Ouch the cracks today in yesterdays bliss. The warning bells you hear but turn away from only to hear them louder next week..... and hey, no longer the naive teen you were.... you realise this premonition is real.
It\'s all there in your words.
