Dear poet you pay a beautiful tribute to my favorite season. The imagery takes me on a walk through the forest where I can catch a falling leave for luck. It flows gently like your babbling brook, and instills a sense of peace and contentment. Thank You!

This is straight out of a walk through the forests of deserted castles in Scotland. And your use of onomatopoeia is impressive. I don\'t think I\'ve ever enjoyed a poem about nature so much.
This poem has invited me to consider the eternity of nature. For as long as the existence of our earth, there has been the flourishing of life.

My friend, this is an elegant hymn to transience...each verse gently turning the page of a golden day. It soothes like sunlight filtered through falling leaves. Well done! πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬

A beautiful poem it shows bravery in the use of so many good near rhymes along with its rhymes. There is good creativity in the wording and metaphor use in this poem and it leaves a peaceful feeling. Loved it a fave

Well written, the poem reflects on the loss of nature and childhood innocence, lamenting the decline of wildlife and the simpler pleasures of life that once brought joy. It expresses a deep nostalgia for the past and a sense of grief for the disappearing flora and fauna.

You have that absolutely right. In just over twenty years, as I\'ve lived in the same place, I\'ve noticed a severe decline in the number of birds which at one time graced our lawn and sung particularly after dawn. Also I once suffered regularly from intrusive mosquitos, and while a sigh of relief at their disappearance may be in order, it is also indicative ........

A poem sending the message of a changing world where nature is pushed back by concrete and plastic. Nicely written with feelings of nostalgia for the past.

When the free press is not allowed into countries to report, you just know genocide is happening.
Sadly, the countries that should be shouting appear to be quiet.
