You express your feelings here so superbly well. For me it was my mom,..I loved her and always will,..but she was an alcoholic bitch,..when drunk. But an absolute angel streight of heaven when sober. Like the female version of Dr.Jyckell and Mr.Hyde.lol🌞🕊

Simple, yet it has depth. Short, but carries duration. A fantastic read. Well done.

Also I agree with not being free. (Me personally)

It’s poetic
It’s beauty
Though pain and tears lace these lines
Your free
Cause your words are free
And with your words with wings
You shall fly from the cage you dwell in
Well crafted poetry dear friend

I think they got your message.....short and to the point - nicely done.

I suppose at your position on life\'s journey interpersonal relationships would be a big preoccupation, but I personally have no picture of Gin Gin in my head - I would very much like a word picture of the place and your position there (only if you want to).

this was a wonderful poetic treat
and if you ever try to write in this style again, might be fun to create two diverse poetic voices in the one write, maybe each representing opposing views? I imagine it might be more work, but also more fun to attempt.. lol
but what do I know, anyway
I just wanted to say thank you for sharing, such a unique read
(oh and psssst, you didn\'t underline the first I) lol

meaningful, impactful, sincere
and Relatable message...
Showcasing a true touch of class,
I would be very proud if I could ever create something like this,
I truly hope you\'re proud of yourself!
thanks for sharing, dear Artist

A beautiful story! I love how the poem goes from feeling cold, scared, and vulnerable to warm, cozy, and loved.

Heartbreaking Tragedy
L. B. Mek said:

very sweet, its defiant and stark and yet still romantic and tentative
\'This heartbreak is a tragedy,
Or is this some conspiracy?

I’ll let you go; though don’t stray apart\'..

They Call Me Jealousy
L. B. Mek said:

\'And that’s why you’ll wish that I’m gone fast.
My fingertips of ash will burn through bone,
That’s enough to have you running home.
I have breath of frost and darkest night,
That alone will have you out of my sight.

I am the monster hiding in the deepest parts of your soul,
I am the part of you that will never grow old.\'..
(and, if I may be so rude as to borrow from your convo above):
\'I will defiantly keep tweaking, working and reworking them!!\'
these two, quotes
insures I\'ll be looking out for every write you post, dear poet
thank you! for choosing to share
such a wonderful read

I read somewhere of the difference between jealousy and envy. Don\'t take me as verbatim here, but I think it said jealousy in some senses is wanting, as a sort of right, what we may not have. Envy is \'worse\' in wanting what we may not always need, but are greedy to have it.

A Pair of Men
jarcher54 said:

A lovely and lively view of the two men. To me, you were implying that they are one and the same man. If only we could listen to ourselves as older folks when we are young and confident and gullible! I assumed the older one had experienced something akin to war. Good to know your clues were sufficient for me to feel that without you having to hit us over the head to spell it out. The \"fearful memories\" could have been other tragedies, famine, pestilence, homelessness or being a refugee from a hell hole. Good work young lady, who clearly has picked up a bit of old wisdom from someone!
