Great dream! But what a hard one! Not only have to write well but have to come up with tricky twisty clever plots - I\'ll read it when you\'re ready!

Great poem! All us writers dream of writing that \"magnum opus\" that really gets a reader to think.๐Ÿ‘

A very heartwarming poem here Rozina, with a flawless rhythm and rhyme.

I\'m glad that there was a happy ending to it, as such a prolonged sense of division and dissatisfaction brought on by the frustrating way humanity operates, is just plain stupid in my opinion.

So, here\'s to the Sweeper!

Bravo, and I hope that all is well!

a fun read, and the voiced frustrations are so relatable
thanks for sharing, dear poet
(if you\'re interested
what genuinely helps me is to reduce my targets
so instead of writing a whole novel
I\'ll focus on coming up with a character
write out her/his or other
details, down to their eyelash length
then, try and and write a page of them doing something related to the kinda story I want to tell
and then rinse-n-repeat
it may only be a lengthier poem or short story
I end up with
but it\'s a good way to motivate yourself
into writing something longer
at a different time..

A great choice of subject because I\'m pretty sure many of us on MPS would share the thoughts you express here. I like the humour woven into this. A very entertaining and pleasing read for me.

I read of the deaths of Vietnamese people in a trailer and women from Eastern Europe promised riches in UK. Itโ€™s terrible that all over the world this inhumanity continues. Thank you for your comments.

The trafficking of slave labour is still rife. Especially for young women/girls.
Your piece brings us to think about this unpopular subject for it is something we should be ashamed of to play host to albeit in ignorance. We could do more.

The exact scenario you describe in your first two stanzas exists everywhere Rozina, as you are fully aware. Dangerous unsafe working conditions, paid a pittance for men. Same for women with various kinds of sexual slavery an additional element. Nowhere is free of it, with very few happy endings.
Your footnote says it all.

Consider yourself lucky Warhol doesn\'t reside with you. Don\'t you prefer to run your establishment your way? This may not be the case if you belonged to Puss.
Please keep on sweeping your lines this way, Rozina - great fun.

A fantastic write here Rozina, with an effortless enjoyable flow.

Also, the fact that you used to work in healthcare, I take my hat off to you, and this poem truly outlines the hardship in trying to help others, of which, I\'m sure they are very thankful to you for your efforts. I like the sketch of yourself as well, though you may have been hiding, you were probably also observing, from a mentor, thus, the next time, you would know exactly what to do.

Bravo, and I hope that all is well!
