Oh Draven - endings are always that bit sad - I know how it feels to sit for a moment in tears thinking what could have been. A moving read. in all sorts of ways.

Good write D.
If going to bed, and having too much on our minds, we may imagine spooky things in the shadows in the bedroom.
This reminds me of the Ascension in the Christian calendar!

For lots of people, I don\'t think they are actual demons.
It may be a bit like - one was worried about using the internet because it had \'.daemon\' in the site name. That\'s going too far, I think!

Big Empty
A.H. Browning said:

I was born in California and lived in Huntington Beach for about 8 years. We lived a very short drive from the ocean on Prescott Lane, Huntington Beach California, within walking distance of Hope View Elementary School where I attended. (I love the ocean. It is the one place that I feel the most at home, the most relaxed and the most comfortable). I cannot remember very much of my childhood but there are several things that stick out when I remember that experience. One of the things I remember is visiting the beach in the evenings and seeing people out on the beach, sharing good times with friends and family . I remember images of people and evening campfires on the beach, (and of course, the sun setting over the beautiful ocean).

Whenever I have the chance to be on a beach at any ocean, it makes me feel wonderful and “at home”. Unfortunately, I currently live in Atlanta 🤨…. No beach or ocean here…

When I pass, I hope to have my ashes scattered in the ocean, as my final resting place.

I appreciate your writing here. Thanks for reminding me of these things 👍

Sometimes you\'re better not over complicating things. That\'s why we throw stuff out early in the year, so we can collect new stuff, usually someone of the opposite sex, though not necessarly as relationships go. lol

(a great shorty, dear poet
thanks for inspiring these words below from me)
\'Projection\'
is an amazing facility of our evolved, coping methodology
If we need it, we can believe
in anything
from that Cast Away, Tom Hanks
and his \'smiling face on a ball\'
or Pinocchio..
we all utilise, what we have
to curate the support system
we choose..
and those of us, blessed
with Poetry in our lives
to palliate our concerns
can dedicate our ode\'s
to those, items
who provide us, with the solace
we need..
