The question of destiny a good start. The image of a flame does it burn the one you attract or just bring them close? So many thoughts to think. Good write.

Sometimes we all stand and just watch, rather than be participants. The flow and rhyme are very good in this, as is the imagery therein.

such an intriguing read, thanks for sharing
and inspiring my little scribble
(sunrise\'s gift earth its shadows
seeking light, to unearth our worth
vanquishing darkness, to excavate
that which we know, feel
awaits on us, to realise
before
its all too late and our horizons
can only be witnessed, dimmed
by the life weary shades
warping-bleak, our view of life..)

To Feel It All

This honestly brought tears to my eyes. Being alive is a gift, for so many of us (including myself) can not fight through the pain of it all. And seeing how others feel about it is heart warming. Great write!

I truly appreciate this poem. Something about its innuendo pulls me in with a revelation at the end....and who can deny its relevance and meaning?

In many forms I have met pain. True; to sit with it and face it alone brings out in one a resilience one would never know if it weren’t for pain. Good write!

I See Green
arqios said:

We had child in our daughter\'s playgroup once that needed corrective lenses... as we drove through wooded roads this child would call out the greenish blur that we call trees and after the glasses were prescribed retorted, they now \"look like people waving at me!\" To see beauty and connection is a real gift and one we should not disavow. Oh, that is quite harrowing, fake fusion. That didn\'t work for long in our case. By the time I was 11 dad hadn\'t returned home and started a second family.
