The twists and turns of this rumbunctious tale had me giddy by the end - a \'big dipper\' of a tale that one - but I do believe I got my money\'s worth Teddy. 🤪

I always loved ballads as poems. They may be longer but the story enthralls me. This one is great in that it is set in a mythological sense and carries a mystical feel. Wonderfully done Teddy.

That’s really freaking clever. It’s alive. It paints a story’ with invisible air as the only canvas as the words jump off the static page snd affix with motion and pathos

Oh yes, Teddy. You have a couple of good characters there. They could have a pint and wash their feet.

Always a fan of Shakespeare and many of his lines, I have wondered how he had such an expansive vocabulary\' This poem rings true and I too have felt how wonderful it would be to be able to get a lesson or two from the greatest, but then it would be like Mozart trying to teach me piano, a waste of his time. Your meter carries one along this poem which is enhanced by the rhyme that is pleasing to the ear. Shakespeare did not always rhyme. Maybe you could teach him a thing or two. Lovely poem Teddy with a thought dear to the heart of many a poet.

You had me. I myself was thinking of when I was playing piano. I never became all that proficient in that my teacher refused to teach me blues when I was a child. Then the end or your poem hit me and the title made sense and I realized I had been doing the same as I read it. Very nice
