Poor Poet
Bella Shepard said:

I think that when your fossilized remains are unearthed thousands of years in the future, there will be clasped within your bony fingers the last and most perfect poem you\'ve written. It will be barely legible, but enough to know that here lies the charm and wit of one who deserves to be remembered. Love this poem!

The tug on the heart strings resonates in a way that the head cannot resist. Beautifully and eloquently written, accompanied by the perfect pic. Exquisite in every way!

One that I missed back when that still applies today and seems that it will not go away soon. Nicely done.

I took this a couple of ways but the one I like best is that all life is the same in value and worth. We tend as humans to aggrandize ourselves above all other forms. Here anthropomorphized they are on the same level. I hope that at the end when you return to reality this is not lost. A fun and enjoyable write Teddy

Teddy, your words are uplifting and thankful. I enjoyed your journey. And Kew Gardens I know so very well. Have visited many times. So close to where I once lived as a child. My grandparents used to take me there. A lovely nostalgic post for ne. Hope your day has been a good one.

Vivid and style true to a child writing it portrays a horrendous picture of loss in a world of pain and sadness. A tribute to a time many would wish to forget but none of us should. Nicely done Teddy

Your heart is of gold
Your heart is sincere
She may be gone now
But she knows you are here
Feel her embrace
As she holds you tight
The words she leaves in your heart
Are your guiding light
May she live on in you
Share your smile everyday
For she believes in you
Because you have touched her this way 🌹

Jewish Museum, Berlin – same or similar feelings, although I was inundated with images after the war, as an adolescent which left me with nightmares which took a long time to abate.
Those sheep? Far too many still around, invested in nefarious causes today. (never understood why some women love a man in uniform…?)
This piece , I can see you put your heart and soul into; so while I could make some black humour around this Teddy, I’m not going to, and fully acknowledge the thought and pain you put into it. Take care.

I shudder whenever I think about the Holocaust. Six million lives lost, just because they were Jews. On a memorial site on Facebook, they post photographs of those young people that perished. I can not pass by without leaving a message to remember them by. Every single one. Your poem is a reminder , that we must never forget. History can repeat itself. The human species never learns lessons. I hope Wednesday brings happy for you Teddy. 💐

A little gem Teddy, shining with truth. Although the shit you chose as subject matter.........
Still much preferable to writing a long poem on daises - which, incidentally, I wish he would start pushing up......🤣

Taken literally there are 7 planets excluding earth and the sun and the moon which could stand for the spheres of wonder but then you speak of constellations of which there are 88 visible from earth so I take this metaphorically. Orion the symbol of transition from life to death while the sauce pan I take to be the big dipper symbolizing the infinite, eternal giving guidance and enlightenment. Great images to \"light my heart\"
\"you’re so far away
yet always in my dreams
when the sun goes to bed
and moon shines her beams\"
takes on new meaning from a soul in darkness guided by Isis light of the night. Finished with a great ending
\"even on nights, that I’m sad and alone
you, my stars in paradise
shine down from beyond.\"
It shows that hope is present in this guiding light. Brilliant!
