It Has Always Been You

What a beautifully intimate poem, dearest Teddy! That first moment of recognition continues through every crowded room afterward, giving the love here both immediacy and permanence. Simple, sincere, and deeply moving, my friend! πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›

A poem that says it plainly when a person is infatuated and overcome by another. Well said Teddy

What a deeply moving piece, Teddy. A small, radiant visitor becomes the opening through which sorrow finally leaves and love returns. The whole encounter feels spiritual, intimate, and beautifully healing. Wonderful write and addition to your Raven collection, my friend. πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›

A most beautiful image and that flutter that they make is a very fast heartbeat indeed. I have them visit me quite often flying in my front door hovering about my living room and out through the kitchen. The ones here being an iridescent aqua blue. Very nice my friend.

Dearest Teddy, this speaks deeply to me. The thought that those we truly love might somehow remain connected to us beyond this physical existence is something I find profoundly beautiful…love continuing in whatever form comes next. Wonderful piece, my friend. πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›

Hi Shirley, a year or two ago I read a book which my sister loaned me called Proof Of Heaven by Eben Alexander. In the book Eben has a a near death experience and writes about the overwhelming sense of love he experiences in the afterlife. Your poem reminded me of this book.

Great write.

Nosiness is a problem indeed and such neighbors who pet into your life and comment on each and every thing really test your patience. You have described it perfectly πŸ‘πŸ˜±

Teddy so good to hear from you and this poem leaves me with the question what all the fus was about myself. Metaphoric I would say one needs distance to understand. So short but a powerful concept my friend.

Teddy, this took one hell of a dark turn! What begins as comic irritation suddenly becomes something far more sinister...and that final revelation is wickedly effective. Loved it, my friend! πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›

Tremendous, sweet Teddy. This poem has a lively, mischievous voice, turning everyday frustration with gossip and nosiness into a darkly humorous twist. I enjoyed the playful storytelling and the unexpected ending, which gives the piece a memorable bite.

A satirical poem of people that find it necessary to poke their nose into everyone\'s business, to stir the pot and fan the flames. A good read my friend that paints reality in absurdities. Nicely done Teddy

Teddy, what one heck of a haunting poem. I know the exhaustion of awful dreams personally...and you capture that terrible vulnerability of being pursued by pain even after consciousness releases us. This hit deeply, my friend. πŸŒΉπŸ–€πŸ™πŸ•―οΈπŸ¦β€β¬›

Powerful work, sweet Teddy. This feels like grief refusing to sleep, crawling into the quiet places where memories still have teeth.
The imagery is dark and haunting, but underneath it is a simple human pleaβ€”for one peaceful moment where the heart can finally rest.
