Vision
Tristan Robert Lange said:

Dearest Teddy, there’s a sharp, surreal clarity here…that flying roof caught in the twister gives it motion and force, and the whole thing lands like a sudden vision. It’s brief, but it sticks. Powerful metaphor. Well done. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

There’s a worn, quiet reverence here—like time etched deep into something that still refuses to fade.
I like how you hold that old tree close… not as it was, but as it stays, steady in the heart. Beautiful tribute, sweet Teddy.

Teddy, “night time’s orchestra” stands out… that phrase carries sound, motion, and atmosphere all at once. It sets the tone perfectly from the start. Well done, dearest friend. This haiku\'s music comes through! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Dearest Teddy, this hits heavy…there’s no pretending here, just grief as it actually feels. That anger, that disbelief…it comes through raw and immediate. Well done, my dear friend.🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

A questioning poem that asks why the living suffer loss and the dead rest in peace. In this sense death is not to be feared but welcomed and may be one of the best parts of life. Well written Teddy

This poem has dual meaning as a haiku it is as rare as the bird or plant both with wonderful color and either working so well. I have never seen the bird that you picture so grandly in the poem but I have the flowers that in their tropical beauty are as grand. A relation to heliconia which grow wild here in Brazil in flaming red the bird of paradise with its orange, yellow and blue have blooms that last for weeks on the stem. A lovely write my friend

So many questions and so many memories Teddy, I do hope the tears were for the thoughts of wonderful memories of those times.

I do weep occasionally as the pub where we often go for lunch has not had knicker blocker glories on the menu for a while now. 🤣🍷🍺

Lovely list of life\'s joys and pleasures and can say I have done most, not the spoon race but a three legged race instead. Not a barn owl but a falcon. Well written and a pocket of dreams one pulls out from time to time that have filled a bucket list with a few still left to fill it.
