A statement so true that it rings as an echo of what is already known a piece of the familiar. Short and sweet a truism.

Yes, I have, and none are poets. I believe that our concentration on the natural world is what saves us. But here\'s the thing, if they\'re from a different planet why did they choose this one to inhabit? It must be that their planet is a lot like ours. Oh no! It\'s happening everywhere. Sorry for that. I enjoyed your poem. It made me think. - Phil A.

Amen, Teddy. What a very thoughtful poem. We are all obscure poets, even those whose names we can recall are but dust in the wind. The \"lost souls\" of the streets multiplying and nothing gets done to help them and to solve the root causes (poverty? idleness? migration? alcohol or drugs? etc.) Too many to list. But, as to the lost souls of poetry, we are all here and lucky to have support from others. Loved this write. - Phil A.

This poem Teddy has the feel of not only mystery and darkness. It calls out and feels special in hidden and lost history. The wording was special itself and worked to build the meaning of the poem. The metaphor of the nameless tombstone is perfect. Most lovely. Loved it

I don\'t think that anyone can kill him anymore since I am sure I did as a kid when I too the violin. No one that does not have perfect pitch should play it, without frets it requires a discerning ear and perfect spatial perception and I have neither. A wonderful write Teddy and it reminds me of how music is often my muse so closely associated with poetry and emotion.

A Sprinkling of Philosophical Petals
NafisaSB said:

not one but a barrage of good messages .
maybe souls are entwined for the lucky ones- maybe there\'s a new one for those who keep experimenting, and changing partners in different stages of life
would a recluse be able to give proper guidance, not having interacted with others and gained experience ?
agree - when your soul cries - give it both your ears, and your heart and mind, and listen to its pleas
Finally empathizing with another does show your compassion..
great job done here
