This is a wonderfully imaginative poem. A deeply layered poem with such childlike innocence at the surface. I enjoyed reading this very much!

So long as he keeps away from Bee-elzeebub he sounds like he\'s in clover. But we shall all look forward to see what will Bee.

I hope this story is not going to be one with a sting in its tail.

wonderfully intriguing premise, has me thinking it could be start of a didactive children\'s tale on inspirational adoption ethics, also like your natural flow,
have you considered utilising Italics to differentiate between voices? just a thought, ignore it if you feel I\'m out of place for making the suggestion.

Chernobyl
ANGELA & BRIAN said:

Good Morning Friend ~ Brian Here. Thank you fo r a very harrowing ~ but true ~ account of what happened @ Chernobyl in APRIL 1986. I live not far from SIZEWELL POWER STATION ( SUFFOLK) have stayed @ Sizewell Hall and have swam in the SEA ! A m I afraid ? NO ! Because at Chernobyl the SAFETY FACTORS were overridden causing it to go to go critical. As a Scientist I consider the UK Reactors to be SAFE and would encourage the UK Government to build more.

Blessings & Peace to YOU & YOURS

I like the multiple perspectives you\'re depicting within the one voice, capturing a very natural element of our unfiltered thought processes

Are all your poems like this? I dare not look.
You are here. So having found yourself in this situation (Life, that is} have a look around - the possibilities are infinite. Laugh at it. I mostly find this life (the actuality of being here) a big joke.
If all else fails , get some CBT in to you.

Take care, Dave

sadly, I pity what reflection you see in that poisonous mirror,
at least your voicing your pain my friend, that\'s an important step!
stay strong and take a second longer - to linger, in those moments wear deep breaths: don\'t ache

It\'s good job i\'m a rabbit and this human thing is just a disguise so i can safely stay above ground. Well. I say safely but.. it\'s not really safe at all is it. War is a bit frightening and those noisey police are a worry. At least us rabbits aren\'t worried by covid.
Learning to read this human stuff has been a boost really though... i even write human poetry though mine isn\'t very good.... yet.

All I ask
L. B. Mek said:

all you ask: is for everything!
what a truthful testimony to how needy and vulnerable we all become in front of love, whether new or discovered later in a relationships timeline, that feeling of anxt and insecurity is unavoidable

A moving heart-wrencher of a write with a last stanza that brings tears to the eyes with its honesty- - - -homelessness is one of the challenges to those who lose a job, or health or support of family or help from friends.

Homeless
jarcher54 said:

The modern world is relentlessly hard for anyone who falls out of line, who can\'t land that steady job or who loses that supportive family. It\'s up to all of us to rage against this dog-eat-dog culture where those who fall by the wayside are expected to get back up without any help. This sweet little poem of yours captures the spirit of one of the most moving character poems ever composed, Padraic Colum\'s Old Woman of the Roads. Check it out on MPS at https://mypoeticside.com/show-classic-poem-6144

The final stanza is heartbreaking:

Och! but I\'m weary of mist and dark,
And roads where there\'s never a house nor bush,
And tired I am of bog and road,
And the crying wind and the lonesome hush!
And I am praying to God on high,
And I am praying Him night and day,
For a little house - a house of my own
Out of the wind\'s and the rain\'s way.

And don\'t forget the wind. I find that here in New England, there is constant grousing about the weather, but New Englanders would have it no other way.. I\'m sure that Brits also would prefer the seasonal changes to a constant boring atmospnere. . _ Phil A.

Make a stand
dusk arising said:

I agree, there is enough falseness in those who turn to god in times of need making pious promises only to abuse the situation in a more level headed time.
Far wiser to use prayer for the mind enhancing practice it surely is wherein the brain waves change pattern to a more logical sphere and a peace, acceptance and serenity overtake ones mind without any temporary unnecessary involvement of a god.

A point well made and nicely woven in your post.
