New Zealand is a much smaller Country so Wild Fires are easier to control than in the USA : However Australia does have a similar problem. I have visited the NAPPA VALLEY Vineyards with my Parents and I agree it is a very Beautiful State. Dont forget you have promised to take me to LA & Hollywood when we are married ! Thank you Brian for your poem dedicated to the devastation that is happening in California! Paradise is gone! I know it can be rebuilt, but not the lives of those who have lost them! My daughter is 100 miles away from there. Spoke to her this morning. She tells me they are affected by the smoke. They have closed the schools for the safety of the children! They are advised to stay indoors! I’m hoping the fires will be under control soon!

My MUM (who is English) uses some of those words : especially DUNGAREES ! Her MUM was a Land Army Girl. Words come & go but the naughty words like BU**ER remain AUSSIES use a lot of expletives more so than KIWIS and the MAORIS have a word for everything !
