LOVE YOUR BODY : EAT LESS SALT ! Brian & Angela
Tamara Beryl Latham - The Poet said:

Wonderfully informative \"You are what you eat\" Sonnet.

It\'s so good of you to give your readers some healthy advice. I have high blood pressure and people say sea salt doesn\'t have the same effect on the human body as table salt. Yet, I find it, too, raises my blood pressure.

Now I\'m using the pink Himalayan salt, but I doubt this is any good for those with high blood pressure either.

Thanks for sharing this great write.

All our food is home cooked, we may have fish and chips from the local chippie four times a year, so our salt intake is managed al the time.

As a nurse, I agree with you on this completely! (As a human being, I do indulge in mcd\'s fries sparingly, sadly) But I don\'t add salt to food that I cook. Never use table salt, there is enough salt in our diets to sustain us!

Although the somewhat pompous and arrogant celebrity chefs seem to think they know just how much seasoning is required the truth is we all have different tastes which they fail to recognise - in my case I am used to a small salt intake and anything beyond that tastes - well - too salty. We have to train our taste buds

A fine write B&A. Some crisps taste like a bag of salt! I only eat the blue salt bag from Salt & Shake crisps. I throw away the salt inside it. Hmm, wondered why it tasted nasty! lol.

Some people just do not seem to be aware of the dangers of building too near the sea. I will not have that problem for a very long time living in the Midlands as we do.

Argghh! Another reminder of building our lives on the sand? The houses look the same (built on rock or sand) until the \'storm\' comes!

Love this ACROSTIC BRIAN : The pictures are stunning but very sad. It made me cry to think they were once somebodies beautiful houses and now completely destroyed by the SEA they once so loved and wanted to be near. New Zealand is very similar to the UK with a large Coast and similar land area to the UK. Perhaps you could check on how big a problem \'Coastal Erosion\' is when you come @ Easter! You always are an Environmental Evangelist! Love you lots ANGEL 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

B&A, Wonderful write. I could vividly see the image, in my mind, of a vast sea of purple bluebells.

And the rhythm was excellent. You should be proud of this poem. I loved it.

Ah plants - now you are in my territory. I also love the larger blousier Spanish Bluebells ( Hyacinthoides Hispanica) but sadly they are taking over and pushing our own more delicate English bluebell ( Hyacinthoides non-scripta) into second place. Not sure why we call them English as they grow all over the continent. Love the write by the way.

A fine write B&A. A true story - a visiting preacher came to us once. He had quite a large teddy bear with him. He said he takes it everywhere with him. Causes mixed reactions from people!
