O LOVE THAT WILL NOT LET ME GO ! BRIAN

A lovely hymn-poem Brian. The author was blind from his youth, I think - George Matheson. A very poignant story about him on Wikipedia.
When one\'s light may be going out, or seeming to be, physically or spiritually, there is Christ the Light of the world for us still.

Cari Amici BRIAN e ANGELA,
Una poesia sentimantale che fa piangere al cuore! Mi piace tanto la vostra foto! Siete simpatici!
A beautiful sentimental poem! You’ll be together before you’ll know it! I know this is cliché; however, absence does make the heart grow fonder!

Oooooo MY BIG CUDDLY BEAR : This is beautiful and straight from Your Loving Heart ! Verse 2 made me SAD to think of You \"Cold alone & growin\' old !\" But it made me smile as well when I think of the sacrifice You & David made to let us come to PARADISE for a YEAR ! You knew about the inversion of the Seasons and that we would get HOTTER (Spring into Summer) as you got COLDER (Autumn into Winter) it was 20+ C (70+ F) today : as you say like the South of Spain. I know you want RUTH & I to experience the KIWI Christmas & New Year alone : but if you cant wait \'til EASTER 2019 just come ! Its 7:30 pm Saturday here and Ruth (who sends her love) & I have just finished our Supper (Chinese take away ~ Perfect !) Have a lovely SATURDAY & SUNDAY and give my love to everyone Abrazos y Besos fuerte con Amor : Your Precious Angel : ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

Thanks for this ANGEL ~ Personally I think Prince Harry has done a good job with INVICTUS because He has restored their dignity to all who take part. We do have students who are amputees (some ex-military) and we do our best to smooth their way. The whole of the NHS (in the UK) are very understanding to all \"War Wounded\" The thing that hurts most for many of them is that they cannot go back in the Military so they lose their Limbs etc and their Job and in some cases their Partner ! Our job is to make sure they don\'t lose their DIGNITY as well. Abrazos y Besos con amor ~ Big Bear Brian 😎🧡🧡🧡🧡

There is true compassion and empathy in your needed reminder of amputee victims Angela - those who have to cope with serious trauma and try to build new lives after injury are surely encouraged by the idea and the challenge of Invictus games - - as your piece states nobody can fully understand but we want these heroes to know we are there for them. An enlightening and understanding tribute my friend.

GREETINGS BIG BEAR : Its 9:30 am FRIDAY HERE. I have my first Clinic @ 11 pm so I will leave for Work shortly. Just reading MPS : I see you have commented on most of our GROUP ! I found your Fantasy Poem interesting and it borders on DEJA VU etc but in a reverse way. A Person who visited an Italian Lakeside Village at EIGHT and then 30 later unable to locate it. All he had was a painting no photos : it is kinda SPOOKY. Love the Picture & the Poem and the comments ! I can vouch for the close encounter with BIG BERTHA in ALDI : Hillarious ! I am trying to write about Venice at the moment but have never been so it is all in my head. Imagination unspoiled by truth!

I used to have a childhood memory of a place which I was unsure if real or a dream.
I\'m still not sure even though I wrote an essay as an undergraduate about this and what we know about \'memory\'

I don\'t think it was bellini though?

Italy is probably my favourite country and there are villages not so different to the picture. Bellini may not exist but it does have a flavour of the country - and love the poem (which does exist of course). :)

GOOD MORNING ANGEL ~ This poem and the Pictures and the Comments and Replies gives me a real thrill ~ Because you are enjoying Auckland so much 24/7 ! It more than vindicates the sacrifice DAVID & I made in agreeing for RUTH & Yourself to spend a Year in Auckland. Each Season is different (as in the UK) and you will discover Christmas & NEW YEAR are very very special ! It is a great place for a Physio / Masseuse to work because ALL KIWIS want to be fit and mobile especially the SENIORS. I loved the PICTURE & VIDEO and also the mixed verse SONNET. You are a Free Spirit and it shows in the Energy & Exuberance of your Poetry ! Abrazos y Besos con Amor ~ Siempre a Tu ~

I used to go walking by My River almost every day but since I now need to be with Joyce practically all the time that has become impossible. I do have an exercise bike but it is just gathering dust in the garage, it is so boring when I know that walking with nature can be so wonderful.

LOVE YOUR BODY : EAT LESS SALT ! Brian & Angela
ForeverJesus7 said:

I like this piece. It is original. Overall, I have a pretty healthy diet. I don\'t have much of an appetite, all I really drink is mostly water and cranberry juice. I consistently exercise. Still, my doctor said my cholesterol is up. I think it is because I like eating pie (haha).
Stay healthy.
Persistence is key
