LET US ALL TRUST IN GOD ~ A 6 6 2 SONNET
orchidee said:

A fine write Brian. Some say the \'O my God\' bit as \'OMG\'. Many may just say it as a by-word.
Similarly, when Thomas said \'My Lord and my God\', in one sense it could sound a bit like \'OMG\'. Oops!
We\'ve got to catch a pesky fiend who goes around our town spraying \'OMG\' everywhere. A phantom sprayer!

Miei Cari Amici ANGELA e BRIAN,
A great write. Very informative! You’re more in tune with our states than most Americans! Looking forward to the other 49 plus Liverpool 😉!

Very interesting! I got a petosky stone there once, thought it was their state stone, it\'s a fossilized coral. Anyway, all wonderful facts! Hugs to you and Angela--Christina

Mio Caro Amico BRIAN,
Beautiful poem about a great man! As Andy stated, MLK’s “message is still needed even now” ... and I dare say...ESPECIALLY NOW! We’re so divisive... too far right...too far left! It’s a mess! I hope things will get better in this USA!

ASK & YOU WILL RECEIVE ~ BUT NOT ALWAYS AS EXPECTED !

Very good write Brian. One thing that I have always believed that if you ask for something in prayers the answer can sometimes be no as God has a better plan.

Very write, Brian. I hate it when people pray for outrageous things and then get angry when they don\'t get them. Great job--Sister Christina

Mio Caro Amico BRIAN,
A beautifully written poem!
We work very hard to achieve what we want! It’s a tough journey...but the rewards can be immeasurably satisfying!

Michael Edwards said:

I worked darn hard to make something of my life and got there through sheer hard work - the only thing I asked for was my wife\'s hand and she gave it - and we worked hard at our marriage and have never faltered.

I\'m not sure my prayers are answered.

But I am still here.

I asked for purpose?
I was given prose?

I asked to understand?
I was given journey?

I asked to belong?
I was given yearning?

I accept it all of course. I am sure it wasn\'t meant to be easy!

A fine write, and understanding and insight to see answers to your prayers Brian.
Some prayers are just daft: \'Make me win the lottery\' etc, unless it\'s for some genuine purpose. Or \'Give me a hundred pork pies and bottles of sherry\' (yes please! lol).

Like artists and poets they get totally obsessed - there\'s a group which meets at the same venue as the one where our Art Club meets and they are there for hours shunting trains round tracks - well good for them I say.
