Excellent haikus strung together to form a larger piece. Very old fossils and modern art, opposite ends of the time spectrum. The painting looks oceanic to me, something blue-watery about it. I even thought I saw a dolphin. - Phil A.

Thanks MICHAEL ~ good use of poetic structure ! Multiple HAIKU is an excellent way of presenting a serious poem in a digestible form. With most fossils the \"soft parts\" are often missing ! Please check my RICE PEAS \'N CHICK befor it all gets consumed ! BRIAN We are both on mega serious topics today !

A fine write and pic M. I shale commend this poem (corny joke there). Ahh, some of us saw it being formed originally, 508 million years ago. We were there. See, carved like a fossil \'I Woz Ere\'.

The \"She\" in #4 is the girl for me. Lots of fun in your Monostichs, which \"Spellcheck,\" won\'t recognize as a word. Learning new stuff every day.
Art - Polar bears in as few lines as possible.
Loved both. -Phil A.

No 3 is definitely the best, but no 2 is good too, leaves a lot to the imagination, then no 4 and finally no 1
But then, who am I to judge!
Great monostichs, all of them! (Had to look up the word too)

Some days I don\'t write any poems at all. Do I cheat? I may write 1, 2 or 3 on other days! I don\'t of it on purpose to keep up a backlog, it\'s just how things go with my inspiration.

I\'ve just about run out with about only three poems not yet posted - at the moment I\'m spending all my spare time preparing paintings for display and an art demonstration plus just a couple of commissions which will take a while so hanging in on MPS by my finger tips - perhaps I should have posted these one at a time. Thanks for your comments Santita - I think No3 is my favourite - it makes me smile whenever I read it.

I used to visit the Gower every month of the year, a favourite area with best beaches by far.

My memory often stumbles
To peninsular past The Mumbles
where such outstanding beauty
often found me fruity
To revisit? - my heart grumbles

First area in UK to be designated \'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty\'.

I love a limerick, would write them all day. Great to see you enjoy them too. Enjoyed yours here and obviously struck a chord in me.
Big thank you.

Thanks MIKE I know the GOWER well and in my mind it rings a Bell ! Welsh Time is very volatile especially in rural Wales like LLANGEFNI on Anglesey ! I turned up to speak at a Church The ORGANIST (playing Cwm Rhonda) and the usher were there but no congregation ~ i thought that perhaps the word had got out that Brian the Saesneg (English) was speaking ! Th Usher said \"Don\'t fret FY ANNWYL\" they have cows to milk and pigs to feed they\'ll come when they\'re ready ! An hour after the scheduled stat time the Church was full ~ the service went well and the singing (all in Welsh) was \"The Language of Heaven\" as I left the Usher smiled and said WELSH TIME is When i\'m good and ready time\" Thanks BRIAN
