SHE SOUGHT HER LIBERTY
myself and me said:

The red wild poppy is one of my favorite flower. It blooms in the field, the bright color makes it stand out.
\"and though conceding to despair
she probed herself anew.\"
I sense the courage and strength in it.
A great piece. Love the simple line paint. Who ever got it have a good taste.

A strong poem, left open to interpretation as good poems often are, compelling the reader to share her plight. Good write, Michael!

In my experience MICHAEL ~ No Sin is too great or too grevious ~ for GOD to forgive AND forget. However we do have to still bear the consequences. If that is a BABY ~ They (there has to a DAD somewhere !) have to face the consequences and the decisions. Thousands WANT to adopt ~ so ABORTION should NEVER be one of them ! Thanks for sharing ~ i apolise for \"HIHORSING\" again ~ BRIAN

My JEWISH friend OBADIAH
Borrowed 500 quid
From his friend JEREMIAH
When poor JERRY died
Everyone cried For the Debt
People were scoffin\'
But OBAD had the neck
Wrote a 500 pound cheque
And then threw it down
On the COFFIN !

Hope you like my LIM ~ thanks for yours BRIAN

A fine write an pic M. A similar thing happened to me. Someone said: Try holding your breath for 24 hours, to save some air for a whole day. I tried it - now I\'m dead. Erm, strange that, can\'t understand it! lol

Thanks MICHAEL we all have Free Will and Poetic Licence is one expression of it ! I am a Classic Poetic Form FREAK ~ BUT ~ I feel too rigid a joining of Form & Function restricts the MUSE ! I get accused of calling ALL FOURTEEN LINE poems SONNETS ! But I an almost Middle Aged (34 !) so i don\'t really care any more ! Like SANTITA & others I am a FREE SPIRIT on MPS ! Love the Meter & Message of Your Poem ~ I always live as close to the Coast as I can ~ my blood is 3.5% NaCl ! Love the Abstract \"The Ghost of the Coast\" AMEN ~ BRIAN Please check \"Some Enchanted Evening\" My Sentimental (not Environmental) SIDE ~ Thanks B.
