NO CAT FOR ME
orchidee said:

Oh lol, good write and pic M.
We have new-ish cats on the block, as well as existing ones. They make a fuss and visit for food from us!
I\'m sure I saw a tortoise-shell like dachshund recently - unusual. Used to call them dash hounds.
Miss Berles got a dog?

A grin from me as well Michael. I see one regularly at the coffee shop I go to regularly.
No cats for me either - arrogant creatures.

A waspish grin to start my day, thank you.

no cat for me
a faithful dog it has to be
a frankfurter upon four willing legs
and caster where his belly sags

Cartoon - A great one-liner.
Poem - Has two identical ends, just like the stick..almost. If you remove an \"i\" from the last stanza, and someone says, \"There\'s an \"i\" missing.\' you can say you poked it out with your stick. Just a thought.
Great art, great poem. Lots of fun. - Phil A.

Don\'t walk too close to the building in case the pointy end comes out of the window - great advice Neville - always stay at the launching pad never at the target.
I take my humour seriously - it is not something to be laughed at.

I was always taught to avoid the sharp end .. but when push comes to a shove, or where loved ones are concerned .. that approach kind of goes out of the window ..

the same principle applies where justice is concerned, or the under dog is being trodden on ...

I think in that kind of situation, it is hard not to grab hold, even if it is the pointy end offered ...

The trick is .. not being afraid to give a good shove if necessary .. oh\' n be prepared to drop and run like hell ... after thoroughly washing your hands in the appropriate strength disinfectant as stated in the manual of personal hygiene and stick management ....

Now then.. having got the stick thing off me chest .. I think it only fair to say that your artwork sir and indeed your sense of humour/fun are second to none ..

Cheers ,

Neville

Some one-way streets in town now.
A guy was going the wrong way on a street. Someone said \'It\'s one way\'.
He said \'But I am only going one way\'. The reply was \'But it\'s the wrong way!\'
Can\'t people read notices?! Grrr. lol. They give you a dirty look, though it\'s them who are going the wrong way.

Music is a stimulant: Energizing the nervous system, exciting the brain, raising the oxygen level, bringing reactions of many kinds to our minds and bodies. What a great drawing. Did you do all that without lifting the pen? - Phil A.

so witty and full of diamond sharp sarcasm,
as genuinely British (a poem) as the all day breakfast sign in the pic,
btw don\'t forget that essential \'tonic\'...

My poem is \'Save gin; add more water!\' In my role here as the phantom tipple-waterer! They will shoot me for it. lol
But what a cad, a bounder - on a show a business person approved an idea just cos she liked gin!

I shall not presume to compare the two. (His contained no artwork.) I must say though, that the wordplay in yours is brilliant. Your artwork is most stimulating. And if a lament contains the flow of wordsmanship
displayed here, then start wailing. - Phil A.
