Spring, relentlessly, not only teases the nature, but also the hearts of humans, yearning to bloom.
The potency of your words ooze out the true nectar of Spring

This is excellent Fay! You actually reminded me a bit of Syliva Plath towards the final stanzas, I can\'t pinpoint exactly why but it must be because of the heavy use of \"he\" and the \"unclothing\" of the petals. Oh actually, I found the poem this reminds me of, it\'s Lady Lazarus. I\'ll leave some excerpts so you know what I mean, \"What a million filaments / The peanut-crunching crowd / Shoves in to see / Them unwrap me hand and foot—— / The big strip tease.\" I mean this is so well done, congrats!

Now that tickled me. \"Young Spring hangs around to tickle ground\'s fancy\" what a super characterisation. Crafty, potent and bold. I just love this character and what he gets up to.

Your writing today has an air of slightly mischevious joy about it reminiscent of young lovers. So appropriate as spring is joyous rebirth itself.

Another one of yours for my favourites to boast. Delightful stuff.

Letting go for mums must be fraught with terror and pride at the same time.
I envisage my daughter in law today, a superb mum, suffering from torn muscles due to her terrible covid coughing whilst still trying to look after a four and eight year old. I guess motherly love is a force to behold in awe.

Lovely lines from you for all of us to consider.

This is quite a poem. It reminded me of In Flanders Fields by John McCrae. Excellent work Fay. Your poem does bring back the sad story of those nameless whose bodies lie somewhere on the battlefield unrecognized. Excellent piece of writing.

All too relevant words for todays conflict where conscripts are fed through a machine of politics to a deathly dilemma at the cost of their young lives.

Such harm is done to his own people and country let alone his murderous intent elsewhere. Putin like Hitler is a cruel power mad murderer.

One million died, in a single day
one Million!
just harrowingly bleak, to think
we still
haven\'t learnt, the brutal consequences
of war..
your words made my heart, tear up
thinking of all those mothers
who spent the rest of their days
cursing, mother\'s day
and its nightmare gifts of memories...
bless your gentle, poetic fingers
for penning such a heartfelt tribute
dear Fay
may we Never, forget!

\'with taught dances
not before tried that express
how love matters
to she whose past is precious.
Grief\'s felt blackness\'..
(what a love
you two, must have shared
dear Fay
for it to withstand, that gravely distance
and have it still
appear by your side, so tangible
and evergreen!)
\'I too
mourn a love, so prominent
in each pulsing
of life, that I endure - till that day
arrives
where effervescent fingertips, that soothe
my yearning\'s, aches
feel as real, as these words I type
and imbue
with all my hope\'s, for that - something
more meaningful, to this
our ephemeral, experience of existence\'
