\"Love hurts, love scars, love wounds and marrs any heart not tough, or strong enough to take a lot of pain\"

Those words from the old Everly Bros song came immediately to mind reading your post today.

How, scarred and battered from love\'s past, we fall into the pleasure pit when love chances our way. Do we shun it or seduce it. Have we become the spider to the fly?

Forever mystifying is love. But why bother quizzing ones brain over it. Romantic love is the highest high known to mankind.... well, this man anyway.

Nature in the raw. Personified nicely in your short sweet verse, Fay.
But that\'s the balance - the way this nature should work.
The only problem is humankind, which has gone feral.

They\'re marvelous creations those tenacious Otter. We have some in a brook in the city here which is quite remarkable. I hope to see them post pandemic.
Your words do justice to that action picture so well today.

I have so contemplated on this subject and have firmly concluded that no matter how we think we would redo our actions, the eventuality cannot be altered, and so, our present actions must reflect this understanding.
As always enamored by your poetry.

LOL the only times I look back with regret are upon the times i put my foot in my mouth and I still cringe at those moments. However. I could do with my mum nagging me about not putting off until tomorrow.... but i have so many excuses...... real ones to do with physical pain....

I just relax and lazily do what I want to do but still have that mischievous twinkle.
