Glad my few words of tribute to small things helped you find quiet and peace dear friend - - and when summer arrives your garden insect aliveness will no doubt find you plenty of which to absorb and fill your poet\'s fancy as to happenings under your own feet. Thanking you for an engaging comment on Meditation.

Today in the rainfall i tried to imagine meditation out there in the wetness. I feel my human frailty would fail me today. However....
... here in the warm sat before a laptop, your words took me to the place my mind found peace and contemplated your well chosen words. A meditation in itself which i fell to quite easily.

On a summers day in my garden, were you to plonk yourself down upon the grass, you would be only too aware of the amazing quantity of little black spiders which scurry out of your way and the soft mounds where ants have made their nests.

Interesting, compelling stanza form... that last offset word waits like a gift to be opened, a treat behind the little window of the advent calendar. Laughed when your nose popped out! Sighed when nature\'s great... what??? poem! emerged.

we could spend a few hundred words, detailing
the transcendent effect we experience
while reading your work, dear Fay..
or - like you\'ve showcased to us, we can learn and simply
breath - in and out, one treasured - blink, of life: at a time...
brilliantly executed!

How did you do that Fay?
First stanza - at back of mind (easiest way to describe) an almost meditative state,
Second Stanza - an indeterminate but certain feeling of the process all around me. What more to say?

and more than that
you not only grasped all that instinctive emotionality
we experience but can barely express,
but much more than that
you meaningfully chose to share
within goosebump inducing, emotive choice wordage;
feeling\'s reimagined and conveyed within poetry
we can all relate with, so easily..
another sumptuous read, dear Fay

I am somewhat occasionally relieved Fay, that after all these years Big D has mostly got tired of calling.
However this should not be seen as a dismissal - it is a well honed delightful reminder which bought back.....memories....and... well... um...
