I really liked your poem. \"Let powerful words smash\" is already a powerful start to the line. Really felt this write.

Amen!
how inspiring: some traditions bypass culture divides and simply demonstrate how closely aligned we all are in the end, tell me what sane human wouldn\'t agree with these hopeful words:
\'Oh Muse, bearer of wisdom, may your words
which traverse the globe
by verse affect attitudes, remove objections,
enlighten egos, rock divisions,
reunite misunderstandings..
slice through innumerable
rules, instil lost sympathy,
drown separation, re-find buried faith within
faded friendships, appeal
for awareness to remember hatred no more..
smash inbuilt devisive
desire for retaliation,
create instead meant relationships, lasting
handshakes which re-shape
distance placed between hearts by age-old
spite as groundless pride
grows no happiness alongside bitter action.\'
a wonderful write dear Fay, thank you for teaching me something very intriguing, I\'ll have to look this up later

Wonderful words Fay.

Calliope is always looking down on me as I write my words. (I have a picture of her on the wall).

Super write Fay, Dippers are wonderful birds to watch and hear.

This takes me back to a time at Aysgarth Falls in the Yorkshire Dales where Joyce and I were sitting by the river watching Dippers, wonderful times.

Fay I don\'t know what to warble to you as I sup my beer in order to gain your attention, but that conversation certainly engaged you. You should share it; a poem perhaps?
Oh...I see... you\'ve done one...yes.. hum... well I can only sit back and admire.
A great little moment recorded by your words.

You paint a lovely picture of a screenplay in my mind. Your words - the patterned carpet upon which the play is enacted....... perhaps an Agatha Christie thriller about to unwind upon the morrows dawning.

You do paint some lovely scenes.

your message is an important one, highlighting opposing perspectives to enlighten our realisation, that one or neither, need always be the answer
if we dig deep enough, we\'ll find \'water\' wherever we may be, what a grounding concept - as reminder, to our interconnectivity even in these challenging time\'s..
a good write dear Fay, with a timely and pertinent message

Great description of city life Fay, I have been to London many times but I am afraid it is not for me, I much prefer the peace of the countryside.

That picture did remind me of a letter I saw in a newspaper once which now applies to me as I am no longer being herded along the city roads as I am the one that now walks the other way in peace and comfort.

And thanks for this one too Fay. As a born and bred East End Londoner, who left, then came back for a while ‘City’ is synonymous with London. Your piece captures something there. I have a love of the place – it has taught me much over the years, though right now I’m pretty happy in one of Sydney’s quieter suburban backwaters. Anyway it deserves your tribute, in my mind if not for now, then for the time I remember best.
