This is you at your poetic best my friend.
This spiritual piece is very moving and so easy to relate to,.... i wonder which part of our earthy consciousness crosses that final bridge with our spirit.

So peaceful. Such writing encourages all to wonder.

On re-reading its gone into my favourites, thank you.

A fine write Gold, on the \'journey of life\'. I tend to go under bridges. Any bridge over about 6 inches off the ground gives me vertigo!

What Valentine\'s Card?
FredPeyer said:

Great writing, Goldie! I guess I am the lucky one. My love does not want a card, does not want any gift. Says why on this day? We can have Valentine\'s all year long! And she is right, she is my Valentine 24/7/365!

By \'eck, i do look forward to buying a card and filling it with love and hope. Who\'d be a postman on a day like today eh?
I\'m sure your special lady knows shes the most special thing in your life, card or no card, my friend.

Love that last line, friend! Valentine\'s Day is cute and all, but I would rather have a low-key token of affection just because it\'s a Tuesday or something. I feel more \"thought of\" when he folds the laundry or kisses my forehead unexpectedly.

Have a lovely day, cos I won\'t. I\'m putting these black roses into vases for KP now. Oh it\'s a day of utter misery for me. heehee.
And did we ever meet Val around 270AD, before his sad but courageous end?

Agree with Laura, including the tinnitus!!! Am trying to overpower or at least forget it with background music. Doesn\'t work! Oh, btw, less can be more and more can be less!

So true, but difficult to respect a person who believes you are not worthy of walking the planet because he/she has been indoctrinated with such rubbish from birth. Otherwise i totally agree.

Respect for All.
Michael Edwards said:

If only - the one issue I have problems with is culture. When one culture imposes on another as with immigration then intolerance steps in. It\'s not always easy to accept ones culture being affected or even lost and I think this seems to be rarely considered by the do-gooders who seem to only concentrate on the advantages of multiracialism and ignore the disadvantages. It\'s different when tribes in the Amazon for example, are invaded and lose their homelands - there is usually uproar from the do-gooders and no mention of multiracialism in those circumstances.

THANKS FOR REPRISING ANDY ~ I have experienced it at a concert ~ very moving ! And once at a College Concert I volunteered to \"present\" it as a Piano Recital ! Half the audience were expecting to hear something and were very bemused when I sat at the PIANO for 4\' 33\'\' then got up and bowed and left the stage. They were even more bemused when those who knew of JOHN CAGE gave me a standing ovation ~ I came back and took another bow ~ even more amusing was that the MC presented me with an \"imaginary\" Bottle of Wine ~ c\'\'est la vie ! I also played the Moonlight Sonata ~ which is my favourite classical piece ! It\'s like Ronan Keating\'s song \"You say it best ~ when you say nothing at all\". I have also written several \"Wordless Poems\" my best one is entitled ANARCHY ! Thanks for sharing ~ BRIAN

Less is more works when the emotion is strongly conveyed. In music a splendid example is Eric Satie\'s trois gymnopedies played on solo piano as it was written.
