Miserable Man.

Andy,
That man should listen to some John Miller music as I just did...thanks to you!
Maybe that will make him smile like John Payne and Sonja Henie in the clip! He might even get the urge to dance!
Oh well, to each his own I guess!

Have a wonderful day.
Love to Joyce and you.

Andy,

The last two lines make a whole lot of sense. Sometimes I do think that these darn machines are doing their best to rule us. And whoā€™s responsible for that? Not the machines...
Humans are!
I enjoyed the clip!
Thank you for sharing.

Love to Joyce and you!

A fine and true write Gold. We\'re dashing to the moon and beyond, literally. We\'ve already reached the moon. We\'ll meet ourselves coming back before long.
Some don\'t stop at accidents even. Some may not know what to do (First Aid), but some carry on as if nothing happened, and someone is laying in the road, for example.

I love this song! World War 2 was a topic for a competition I participated in and one of the fields studied was music, since then I\'ve always listened to more jazz from the 40s like this!

Great observational piece. Begs the question - where are these people mentally? Most of us have a \'social front\' we present to the world and we rarely let it down unless we are upset or in a period of depression. So it is difficult to relate to such people.
A similar thing which raises a smile within me is the collection of oblivious strollers we meet who wear an obscure grimace as they pound along the pavements. I\'m chuckling now, i\'m sure some of the are quite frightening to little old ladies.

THANKS UNCLE ANDY: As a physiotherapist I have learned that : the expression on a persons Face is a reflection of the mood of their Mind & Spirit. At least I am allowed to tickle them and make them smile! We see a lot more smiles in NZ than the UK and we know why. The MAORI are always smiling! Brian & I both love GLEN and In the MOOD is a classic. Brian gives a lovely talk and CD presentation on the Life & Music of GLEN MILLER! Have a great DAY : Smiling is infectious : love to JOYCE : Love ANGELA XXXX

A true write unfortunately. Some may have reasons to be gloomy, I suppose. But some just grunt, without so much as a \'please\' or \'thank you\'.

Andy,

I enjoyed ā€œStranger On The Shoreā€.
Very soothing and peaceful.
Itā€™s a great piece to begin my day with.

I like the idea of ā€œCafe Churchā€. Speak to one another...thatā€™s the key!

Have a wonderful day.
Love to Joyce and you!

THANKS ANDY ~ Love this low register rendering from AKA ~ awesome. My DAD said it took the Hit Parade by storm ~ a JAZZ / CLASSIC. I have this CD in my car and when this track comes on I always cry because I think of My Sweet Angela waiting for me on Auckland\'s Shore (Please check my POEM today ~ I could have used this tune instead of Now is the Hour ~ which always makes me cry !). I am Young enough to appreciate (and even understand !) the different ways of DOING CHURCH in the 21st C ~ I am so glad you embrace it (Scientists have inventive minds) and that the Event even move your MUSE ~ AMEN. Love your Poem and have printed it to recite in Church. Giod new that the 21st C would see a flood of \"SPIRITUAL SONGS\" and you Poem embraces them just as important as PSALM & HYMNS (A & M). Your title reminded me that ~ How often I have stood at the graveside (we tend to bury not cremate) of one who has been \"called home to glory\" and wished in my Heart that I had spoken to them more often. Especially those who became housebound and longed for a conversation ! We have been lifted up twice already ~ by Steve & now by your Good-self ! Love to JOYCE ~ Blessings BRIAN & ANGELA ~ Still in BAY OF ISLANDS NZ !

A fine write and pic Gold. I best polish up another hymn-poem then. Though, alas, they\'re unlikely to be used in more \'modern\' places. They don\'t know what hymn books ARE!
But then again, traditional places don\'t use \'jazzed up\' stuff.

THANKS FOR SHARING ANDY ! Love the HORN and love WYNTON ~ fast & smooth ! When I\'ve a big project on my plate I often wish (and there are a few like that) who didn\'t have to sleep at all. So I go to bed late (after midnight) and I\'m always up before 7. being single helps ! The odd night i am with ANGELA is OK because she is asleep almost as soon as she\'s in BED and she likes to be up before 7am. I can\'t read or work in bed ~ Angela loves to read in bed but soon falls asleep ~ AMEN. Thanks for sharing BRIAN.

Why are we in a hurry?!
I really donā€™t miss those days when I had to ā€œclock inā€ at the same time five days a week! That was stressful!

Have a wonderful day!

Love to Joyce and you.

Good Morning Uncle ANDY: ANGELA here from Bay of Islands NZ. The first time I heard SWINGLE I was blown away too. Love the video an aural & visual delight : another musical dimension! AMEN for the common sensity in your Poem. I seized the opportunity to come to NZ and BRIAN (Bless his heart) built a DOOR in the WALL of DOUBT and UNCERTAINTY for me. I have repaid HIM by learning to dance the MAORI POI ! (see my Poem). Love & Blessings to Yourself & Joyce : ANGELA XXXX
