Beautiful poem, beautifully written, Goldfinch! I think we all know that the light is there, but sometimes we are so involved in our own problems, we just don\'t see it. Your poem is a great reminder!

A fine write Gold. We\'ll have to get up early enough to catch that hour\'s light in the morning, before the dark evenings.

Great poem, Goldfinch! And you are right, the mornings disappear much too fast! Even though I usually get up at 5:30am, the next time I look at my watch it is noon. Crazy! And the older I get, the faster time seems to move.

Good morning to you too, ANDY!
Great write for a great read!

I’ve been loving my mornings more and more these days! Like an addict, I turn on my phone and go directly to MPS to quench my poetic thirst!
After an hour or so, I brew myself a cup of coffee and prep myself to face another day!

My adoptive mother died from Alzheimers, And no, it\'s not easy to accept or live with. But sadly, it is part of life. All we can do is comfort them and like Lynda said is to love them even more.

Thanks ANDY for sharing and caring ~ a difficult but salutary poem to share. My MUM is 60 this year (December) and thank GOD she still knows who I am and we can still discuss the finer points of the Natural Environment together (she was a School Nurse !). Many of my Friends regularly visit their MUMS ~ but their MUMS don\'t recognise them ~ so sad ~ and they don\'t improve. Every Blessing in your relationship with your Lovely Wife and Family, Thanks for your very encouraging and positive Spirit ~ Yours as ever BRIAN
