Andy,

Your write is spot on!
My mom asks the same
exact question every
morning at the breakfast
table...in Italian even though she can speak English!

As Yogi Berra proclaimed,
“It’s déjà vu all over again!”

Patience, patience, patience...

I read your poem to my aunt this morning! Guess what she said? “That sounds like your mom and you teasing her.”
Love to Joyce and you!

~Laura~

P.S.- My mom is not afflicted with dementia. She deals with short term memory loss. Her long term memory is amazing!

Thanks ANDY: Like BRIAN I love the sound & rhythm & tempo of JAZZ. It always lifts my Spirits. Loved you POEM in my Job as a Masseuse to the Elderly I deal with many Ladies, mainly in Retirement Homes with DEMENTIA and we always have a laugh. My favourite song when massaging is RUB A DUB DUB : THREE MEN IN A TUB! They know all the words and love to sing along. Every BLESSING : Love to JOYCE - ANGELA XXXX

THANKS ANDY ~ loved the VIDEO ! I am a paid up Member of the MISTER BEAN SOCIETY and in my eyes ROWAN can do no wrong ~ Toujours Le Genie ! Beethoven (who had no sense of humour) would have loved it !
Love the poem and there are many many signs of the END TIMES recorded in the Gospels ~ Daniel ~ Book of Revelations and elsewhere. While the orientation of tumbling toast is not mentioned specifically ~ there is mention of SIGNS & WONDERS and that could indeed be one of them ! I do hope the END does not come before the Middle of September ~ By which time My Two Weeks in NZ with ANGELA will be complete ~ AMEN ~ Yours Packed & Ready (for NZ !) BRIAN ~ Love to JOYCE

Andy,

I’m with Joyce...
Give me the marmalade...
forget the butter!
Orange marmalade is my preference!

Beethoven...
an added delight!
That was a great clip!
Enjoyed it very much!

Love to Joyce and you!

THANKS ANDY ~ Anything by Beethoven deserves an airing and Daniel is a great \"interpreter of B\". I have my bedside radio tuned to Classic FM and it comes on automatically @ 6:30 am. We often get a snippet of B ! I find TV is a bit repetitive and crass these days so mine is tuned to 703 (Radio 3) and of course Classic FM ) (or a CD) on the kitchen radio. We have no excuse today, not to be versed in the classics ! Love your poem too ~ very soothing. Your classically BRIAN.

Andy,

Yes, Juan Diego Flórez’s voice is amazing!

La Donna è mobile is my favorite aria!
The first words I sang as a three year old!
It was my dad’s favorite aria. Since the day I was born I’d hear him sing it! If he wasn’t singing it, he would be whistling or humming the tune! His nickname was “il canticchiatore”(the one who hums). My daughter definitely inherited his genes!

I enjoyed reading your great poem!
I agree with you...
“Each day is different,
That is the beauty of our lives.”

Enjoy your beautiful day!
Love to Joyce and you!

My wife is catholic and when he is away on holiday in his native Ireland his place is taken by a Father from Ghana. He visits this country every year and has been doing so for a number of years now but still none of the congregation can understand a word he says so I can relate to your poem this morning Andy.

The Lost Words.
dusk arising said:

Lovely,so aptly describing a poets dilemma.
I think these \'lost words\' go into a mental folder which burns within us crying out to be released, to be expressed, to be written.
So often i will hear a well known piece and think, i wish i could do that but say something like it from a different angle. I fail, but the longing remains... one day!

HI ANDY ~ Love Nigel Kennedy A Rebel with a CAUSE !

Seated one day at my PC
My fingers strayed across the keys
There arose such a Phrase of Ecstasy
It sent a tremble through my knees ..........!

Love your Poem triggered by MIKE:
V 1. Transfer of WORDS from mind to paper is never easy
V 2. ALL Great Poets edit their manuscripts
V 3. Lost WORDS ~ like lost CHORDS ~ oscillate through the ether eternally !

Love to JOYCE ~ Yours as always BRIAN & ANGELA

Good questions to ask re. lost words Goldi - - poets suffer from idea-rivers that change their course midway between thoughts.
