What an example to set. Too many people today fixate on the negative. I\'m sure your life isn\'t perfect but you and your wife obviously share a great love... As Pa Larkin would say \'Perfect!!Maggie

Love is hard to find these days. Bottom of the barrel dragging mooks in the mud I tell you. It must make you feel nice when your love for someone can affect someone else in a positive way. I shall remember this. Good work sir, both in life and in your travels to the shop.

THANKS ANDY ~ Nat King Cole ~ The smoothest of the Ballad Singers of the mid 20th Century and there are many contenders. NKC always sang from his HEART and always directly to YOU. When I give talks to Pensioners on the UNFORGETTABLE Nat & Natalie the Ladies are openly in tears and the Blokes trying hard to hold them back !

A Fire gives no heat unless it glows
Love is not Love unless it shows !

Thanks ANDY & JOYCE for sharing your love and the impact it has on those who come into your loving orbit ~ AMEN

Blessings & Love to Joyce from BRIAN & ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡 😉😉
Please check my 9/11 Lament ~ Thanks B

Andy,

That young lady in the coffee bar is lucky enough to actually see the love you and your wife have for each other! I can “see” it throughout any of your writings that I read where you reference Joyce! God Bless you both!
All my love to Joyce and you!

~Laura~

P.S. - You chose the perfect song to complement your write!

Thanks ANDY ~ Love SCARAMOUCHE and he Saxophone ~ brilliant combo ~ AMEN To dress or not to dress ~ that is the Season. I am a bit like you ~ Im not (like some Ladies) Season coded clotheswise. I like cool clothing (not too heavy) so it does rather depend on the \"Temps du Jour\" rather than the Season.
ANGELA is a bit confused by the NZ Weather ! The first three Months June July August have been WINTER ~ but most days it has reached 15F (60C) and the clothes she took are much too work ~ Its now coming into SPRING September October November and it will get even warmer ! It is the sub~tropics ! For retired people there is NO DRESS CODE. I work indoors (except for Field Courses) so it is Centrally Heated in Winter so my work gear is cool casual ~ except for Meetings & Interviews etc when it is FORMAL. Because it is a 16+ College there is no dress code for Students ! Yours BRIAN

I\'m so pleased you are not a naturist. Those people, I wonder if they\'re aware of people staring at them. I couldn\'t do that. Innocently i took my young family onto Studland beach once... quite an eye opener!
I\'m with you, dress for today\'s weather. I always have a lightweight pack-away cagoule in the car in case of threatening skies.

I tend to get me coat out at the least chilliness. I go by - best to wear one, if need be. I can always take off my coat if too hot. But if not having a coat with me, I may stay chilly all the time.
And yep, we had heating on for a while the other day - September!
I think it depends a lot whether we feel the cold much or not.

It most certainly does ease the troubled mind. However i was once given a record by a polish avant guard jazz group called \'pinski zoo\'. It was music to keep you on the edge of your chair, a pal described it as the most unsuitable music for a dentists waiting room he had ever heard. Andy,

Thank you for introducing me to Flanders and Swann! The g-nu song...Very entertaining! I enjoyed it very much! I can tell this will be a great weekend...
Friday night ended with Sir Paul McCartney’s surprise concert at New York’s Grand Central Terminal...where I was fortunate enough to be...and Saturday has begun with Flanders and Swann. I’d say that’s a great segue to a wonderful weekend! Life is grand!
Wishing you and Joyce a great weekend.
Love to both of you!

Oh I just love their Gnu song.... so glad you do too! My parents turned us on to them when we were young (we were very odd children for the United States).... I especially love the monologue where they say: \"If God had intended man to fly, he never would have invented the British Railroad\"...... And \"sign saying low flying airplanes - what are you supposed to do? Take off your hat?\"
