Ethiopian Evangelism

Thanks STEVE for a Great Tune and a Great Tale ! I love the account of the conversion of the Ethiopian Eunuch. The last time I opreached on this passage in Acts my outline was:
1. He came to The House of GOD ~ the Temple in Jerusalem
2. He obtained a copy of The Word of GOD (very expensive I guess) The Prophesy of Isaiah ~ and is reading it in the Chariot WOW ~ When Philip and the Eunuch meet he is in Chapter 53 ~ AMEN ~ If it wasn\'t in the Bible I would say FICTION !
3. He meets a Man of GOD ~ Philip the Evangelist ~ who introduces Him to:
4. JESUS ~ The Son of GOD
5. He believes and is baptised (by immersion ~ No sprinkling is Acts !) and He becomes A Child of GOD ~ A Christian ! He goes on His way rejoicing and takes the Gospel into AFRICA ~ AMEN
Please pray for the CHURCH in ZIMBABWE ~ Amen
Thanks for caring & sharing ~ BRIAN Your Brother in Christ ~ AMEN

Nice execution with the rhymes - they draw one down into the wellspring of the soul where one cries for unity with its Creator.

So, orchi, tell me, is the grass on the other side (the Catholic side) greener? Your last stanza mentions some kind of Beer, but I always thought the Catholics only use wine! :-)

Your treatment of these verses inspired me to go to several of the original biblical Psalms quoted. In doing so I am able discern the wonderful, tasteful embellishments that you have created here in this work. Masterfully done my my friend.

CWM RHONDA ~ One of the best especially when sung in Welsh. I used to lead parties of Scouse Teenagers up Y WYDDFA (Mount Snowdon) and we learned the first verse in Welsh (some Scousers can speak Welsh as well as Scouse !) and always sang it (in four part harmony) at the Summit ~ All Scousers can sing ! Loved your POEM as well ~ you are a Wordsmith ! Yours BRIAN
