Please click link to see clip on You Tube. Some mystical words in the original hymn, and going back to the end of the 17th Century for the author, John Mason.
Not to be confused with John Mason Neale, a later hymn-translator.

Erm, we are dust or worms, or sheep - and other things - according to the Bible. But what else rhymes with \'trust\', if I must rhyme?! There\'s one - \'must\'!

Hee hee Brian. Well, it seems dragons could be sea monsters, big creatures in the sea, etc. Surprisingly The Message Version, usually too paraphrased for me, has \'sea dragons\'. I usually use KJV for my hymn-poems.

I know it\'s not a \'hymn\' as such, though could be used for some memorial occasion maybe? I\'ve only written this now, in 2017, though the event was in 1968. Just didn\'t get round\' to setting it to poetry.

Good write. Had the best fish and chips ever in Whitby and I still remember the cost. Fish chips, bread and butter and a cup of tea £3.50. The piece of fish over hung both side of the plate!

And including views of a sunny Whitby Fish Market, if you live there, holiday there! The original hymn is by Bishop William Walsham How, also the author of \'For All The Saints\'.
