Thank you Louis, for continuing this subject. It is about time that it comes into the open and that we all are made aware of it.

THE PRISONER

It seems to me some healing of the brain, or mind, is needed somehow. We could say \'damaged brain or mind\', whether of a physical or emotional cause.

A fine write Louis. I saw a programme, someone had Tourette\'s, a mental condition. They employed him, but he said some shocking things when with customers, although involuntary. Children were around too.
Difficult, but not impossible, for them to be employed.

Louis, thank you for opening our eyes to this affliction! I know a couple who has two children, both afflicted by autism. And I still remember watching the movie \'Rain Man\'!

Good write L. I said before somewhere - we can\'t \'see\' mental illness like we can see physical illness.
Handicapped is hideous word I think. It\'s \'special needs\' nowadays, as one alternative word.
An English cartoon is \'Andy Capp\'. A character\'s name based on \'Handicap\' I think, though it does not poke fun at mental illness.

KNOWING
Laura🌻 said:

I actually understand Out’s comment. I’m in shock that I do!

Your write actually makes a lot of sense! It’s that little voice within that speaks to us! So we know things without knowing how we know them! When we’re asked, “ How do you know?” and we don’t have an explanation, our response usually is, “I just know”!

This is soooo deeeep, Louis! Had to read it a few times just to get over the first few lines. Am still wrestling with the intellectual impact, but that it is a gem of a poem, of it I\'m quite certain!

I don\'t know if I don\'t know something I don\'t know because I don\'t know if I don\'t. Oh the sort of verbal nonsense I just love - nice one and hope you had a great day - sleep well Louis

HEAVENLY EXPRESSIONS
FredPeyer said:

Art is art, no matter what shape, size, sound, no matter if written, sung, played, or constructed. Each one of us is different and perceives art differently, so there is no right or wrong, good or bad, superior or inferior.
Like your poem very much, Louis!

All art has its meaning within us, I love music but both words and art can pull me into their realms. I am thankful that I can appreciate them all.
