ANCIENT TRANSITIONS

That was beautiful Louis.

Life is indeed a journey. One should not fear death. I had a cousin in New Zealand who was sadly diagnosed with a terminal illness and consequently died.

What was remarkable was how in the last moments of his life he made the most of his life achieving everything he needed to do. He even chose the exact burial spot where he was to be buried. He did not fear death.

We have nothing to fear as our life comes to an end.

Keep writing

Anticipation is the answer to future transition Louis as I believe \"the best is yet to come\" - - an absorbing read.

although I had to discover what \'incumbent\' means, your wonderful writing scared me a little because I am now believing we may be speaking to these spirits from our \'ancient souls\'. how do we know if they show up in another dimension like you mentioned. oh dear, what have you done? a great write, my friend. scary but written with authority over these spirits.

Great poem and food for thought! To finally change that script is very hard work! Millions of programming lines! Will it ever work? We\'ll see when we next come back!

A fine write Louis. I see it as our \'programming\' of sorts (not an exact description) went wrong ever since Adam and Eve.
Would you Adam and Eve it - believe it? I would!

I find the first line so very true Louis - - blessed are those with simple beliefs - - and to this I would add no more except to comment how well structured this powerful piece is. Loud applause for outing a difficult subject my friend.

Good write Louis.
God is sometimes called The Absolute and similar titles. One said to me: \'Why don\'t you question your beliefs more; have a change maybe; you may have been brainwashed?\'
For me it would be disastrous, and dismantle my faith. Not that I\'m bigoted - hope not!

Well this certainly appeals to me even though all is not black and white in their world - and love the last line which sums it up - so well structured and a sure fave.

Louis, while I agree in principal with the premise of your poem, I do think it is a little bit too simplistic, a little bit too black/white. Personally I think there are also many shades of grey. To each his/her own. Whether or not we agree with the premises, I am sure we all have to agree that it is very well written!

THANKS FOR SHARING LOUIS ~ You know how I think Louis ~ I am a COMMITTED CHRISTIAN and my concept of Heaven is based on the Scripture which does not make False Promises for Martyrs ! The BIBLE in fact leaves it up to our imagination ~ which in the end would understate it ! Despite the Glories of Planet Earth ~ Natural & Manmade ~ \"Eye has not seen ~ Ear has not heard ~ Nor has it entered into the Heart of Man ~ What things God has prepared (in Heaven) for those that love Him ~ 1 Corinthians 2 v 9 I have Faith that my future destiny after Death will be HEAVEN and I don\'t speculate (outside of what the BIBLE teaches !) but I do know it will be much better than the best I have experienced on EARTH ~ AMEN ~ Yours BRIAN.

I understand, where \'religion\' is just seen as a set of rules or regulations, as a \'thing\'.
I\'m rather un-questioning. \'Blind faith\' maybe, but hopefully not just blundering in and believing anything. Rather as a monk said ages ago: \'Subjecting my reason to faith\'. Very wise, I think.

Good write, although I am a believer I also believe that people should have their own beliefs or not as the case may be, as Michael has said if others have a problem with the way we think and write it is their problem, not yours.
