oh, father (or: what i would say at my father\'s funeral)

These feelings are out and good for you for saying it BLUNT cos its so hurtful for you. He damaged you.
But you are not beyond recovery. The very fact that you are poetic shows you are evacuating the damage from your soul. It will take time and you should be gentle with the process.
MPS is a very theraputic place where goodwill exists in bucket loads.
Publishing what you write when drunk really gets it off your chest. I hope your head feels ok - hangover wise.

When a love is special poetry is in the air. When a poet finds that love, then poetry fills the air and powers the hand to write.
A lovely love poem today.

Great finale there. Your words made me think of your mind and its struggle with your body while i was making a comparison. You see some people who ARE their bodies - the architypical \'dumb blonde\' - who are apparently of little mind.

Wow, powerful stuff my friend reminds me of when I confronted my real father at 18 asking why he was never there! My sister and brother both had memories but I have none, even when the words sorry left his lips, I could not expect it!
How could I from a man I didn\'t know, I may look like him but there was not an ounce of respect for him.
12 years later I was getting a divorce and becoming a part time dad, that\'s when I understood not everyone can handle this kind of pain but I\'d make sure mine would never feel the same.
Thank you for sharing yours, if this is actually happening I hope you find the same strength.
Much peace and respect

Makes me wonder if it is a real story, but I see it as real.
Maybe it is in a way because how could you be able to say all of that if it\'s not real?

I found these words quite by accident while mooching around here this evening.. I am glad I stumbled upon them in such a way... to be honest, the more I read, the more impressed I was with them.. I found them emotionally charged but blunted, if that makes any sense... you tell a story that had a reality to it that made me draw breath sharply through clenched teeth and quite a few times... I dont know whether the details are autobiographical or fiction.. at the end of the day, it does not really matter, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit... Neville

I can\'t even explain how many fights I\'ve gotten into over gun control. Even my own mother disagrees with how I think things should be fixed. Exactly, we don\'t want them ripped away from people, if you wish to own one, then fine. Own it to protect your family from real dangers. Armed robbers or things of that nature. Or if you\'re a hunter out during hunting season getting your deer for the year. Fine, you do you. But I see no reason why regular civilians need such dangerous weapons in their possession! And the process of accepting or denying someone a weapon is too short! There needs to be a stronger background check, a mental check, a waiting period! If you can\'t wait a week for your background checks to come through, then you don\'t really need the gun! This violence is getting crazy lately. It\'s only gotten worse within the past two years. (And I\'m not blaming it on the current politics, but I\'m also not saying the current politics are helping). People are losing their minds, especially here in the states!

Fun writing. I believe everyone should write like this about their lovers. In years to come you can look at the stuff you wrote and those memories will come back fresh instead of just letting the years fade them away.
Please comment on my poem today.

we are all just emotion and expression our bodies arent who we are its our minds and we express that through the body it is but a tool for us to express
Im too ill informed to be completely for or against transgender but i believe nobody has a right to tell another how to live sadly our society has become one of blind opinions hopefully one day all this will be a bad dream and we can all live as we please without being judged

sad thing when we have to \'\' rely \'\' on \'\' medication \'\' . you speak some very true words... medication does not \'\' fix\'\' that which is wrong in our minds, it helps us to feel a bit better and to maybe feel more able to cope, if only we could take the meds for a little bit and then our illness ceases to exist.
i can read your frustration at having to take \'\' pills \'\'\' and having to deal with a mental illness which never goes away .
its strange , some people have no understanding at all about \'\' mental illness\'\' responses like get out in the sun and you will feel a lot better , nature is the cure.. unfortunately some people do not understand.
you expressed yourself in a good way
