I often make a \'usual\' sort of comment, e.g. fine, nice, etc. But in this I notice a depth and profundity, along with simplicity. Not that these things are not in any of your other poems also!

I have tangled with at least two of these - Good description! (Did you know horses can eat poison ivy and it doesn\'t bother them at all? Just for fund of information you will probably never use!) Enjoy your day wc!

Skunk Too Close

Good one - good picture! Reminded me of one that we sometimes found hanging around the bin for horse feed - we wouldn\'t feed the horses until he had enough and walked away - but he was beautiful!

I could see every image - I grew up in fresh country air and was always out in it. Best way to grow up - you\'re right....

Gravity Is Not My Friend
Lorna said:

This was fun. It made me think about a Hugh Grant interview once where he said he was washing his face, looked up and his face stayed in the sink. Oh to be gravity free!

\"Things\" in general wc! It\'s great when you realize you can live without wanting \"too much\" - it is such freedom! Part 2 of the same lesson is learning to do things for oneself instead of paying people to do them for one.... you need a lot less money that way! If I interpreted this correctly, it hits a big chord in me. (And there can still be elegance in simplicity!)
