A Flock Of Geese

I really enjoyed this - where I live in New England the Canadian Geese make a great show of practicing every year and \"get ready\" and then never leave. Lazy geese I guess.

Oh To Be A Swift
Goldfinch60 said:
Wonderful birds swifts. I have been fortunate to help one in the past. At a place where I used to work we had swifts nesting in the roof. One morning I came to work and one had got stuck under the ridge of the building, I got a ladder and freed it to fly once more.

What a wonderful bird your verse celebrates W.C. - I should love to see too what it is like up there in the sky with a swift. Lovely read.
