Prayers and warmest regards. I\'ve had problems as well on and off and it could be the hypertensive fluctuation as even my prescription lenses at such times are quite useless and even bothersome.

Brilliant!
(many a poetic mind
will live, these words
come summer\'s end
and holiday escapades
revert
back, to that daily grind
where hugs and shared
smiles
afford us, those anchors
we grasp
to survive our life\'s winters)
poetic brevity, encased
in your masterful subtlety
my friend

L. B. Mek said:
it\'s that enticing lull of crunch
beneath our feet
that melancholic duality of beauty
vying for our affection
while we witness that bronzing
of a year\'s last hurrah
season..
tugs at those embers, in our hearts
where we try to keep alive
that we know, we can never reverse
to how it was, before...
(love this, I so relate
dear Poet supreme)

The poem reminds us that love can transcend boundaries and limitations, much like the flight of birds in the vast sky. It speaks to the eternal nature of affection, emphasizing that it exists not only in the present but extends beyond our imagination.

My further comments on the poem \"Unfortunately yours” by Neville
Change the title of the poem to “Previously yours…” or “I am now hers…”
About the flower again. On the point of withering away, it will say : “OK, at least use me on that funeral wreath.” But, it won’t be used at all… Even for placing on a grave we will look for fresh flowers…
Man has indeed a sorry fate. He has been programmed to perpetuate the species, but often only finds obstacles in his way. In some respects, even some other creatures have a better fate…

My comments on the poem \"Unfortunately yours” by Neville
It’s just nine lines, but it conveys a lot. We long for a happy ending, but don’t find it. It is indeed a crying shame. The futility of human pride : every step takes us closer to our grave, to decomposition, yet many mistakenly put pride first, instead of getting pragmatic.
We keep hoping for the best, we hope that tomorrow will be better. Hope keeps us going. But, time does not stand still. The flower will wither and disappear, its beauty and use being but transient. Its days have always been numbered.
“Vain glory blossoms but never bears.” Quoted in : Sam Phillips : \"3000 proverbs.\" New Delhi : Goodwill Publishing House, c 2017. Full acknowledgements are made to the authors, publishers and rights-holders. Soman Ragavan. 23 May, 2023. //

The Simple Art of Wondering

Sometimes, science, medicine, psychology, philosophy, etc. take away from life\'s enjoyment by giving us the explanation for many of life\'s mysteries. For instance, we now know why the tides rise and lower, what the surface of the moon and Mars look like, and we predict the weather more reliably. These are all good things, but their old mysteries were far more entertaining.
Your poem paints the same picture, \"some things, are best left a mystery.\" I say, \"Amen!\" - Phil A.
